HOW TO PLAY THE GAME 

When the game is open there are only 6 keys that do anything. 

The arrow keys (below the Delete, End, and PageDown keys on most
keyboards) move your character. (Right, Up, Down, Left) 

The Enter key or Space Bar is the action key. You use it to talk to 
people in the game, strike with your sword, etc. 
 
 The Esc key (upper left corner of keyboard) is used to call the game's 
menu. Press it and hold for about a second and a menu will pop up. 
You won't be able to control your character at the start of the game. 
It's a big long "cutscene" and you won't have control of your 
character for a few minutes at the start. 


Menu Controls. 

5 options will pop up in a cross pattern. I forget the exact 
positions, but it goes something like this... 


       Blade Arts 
Stats     Links     Auras 
       Notch Item 


When the menu is up pressing the LEFT cursor key will call the 
Stats menu. 


         Blade Arts 
[Stats]     Links     Auras 
         Notch Item 



When the menu is up pressing the RIGHT cursor key will call the 
Auras menu. 

       Blade Arts 
Stats     Links     [Auras]
       Notch Item 



Pressing UP will call the Blade Arts menu. 
Pressing DOWN will call the Notch Item menu. 
Pressing ENTER will call the Links menu. 

To escape from a menu or go back a step, press Esc until you are out.
