you know what's funny?
That Ocurrence's sig has some germans walking on ice.
It says HALT, and then HAMMERZEIT.
HALT means slippery in swedish.
I find that amusing.

Oh, that layer of wit was completely lost to me, I just found the comparision amusing.
Hiel Tele and his infinite wisdom and insight.

Similar to this situation, the next vgcats comic is much funnier, for those who understand it.

It is my impression that the Clevinger/Scott Ramsoomair/Tim Buckley circle stumbles upon certain things a good deal later than they should. For example, Guitar Hero? Old stuff. Yet Clevinger is making vows against Psychobilly Freakout on Medium. Deathnote? I think that got popular around here last summer-ish.

How about when Ramsoomair discovered Cave Story last June? Inexcusable!

I like to think I set the standard time line for trends, where if I have already caught on, you'd best try to get in on the newest budding trend.

Well vgcats.com are fucking slow on everything. But that deathnote spoof is just awesome anyways.
And guitar Hero almost recently got a bump by the 360 release, so that would explain that.

There's an event in the fall called "Fünde Razor" or something. It's a charity Guitar Hero Tournament. Got lots of media attention every year, and I think its been 3 or 4 years since it began. So he missed that.

Of course, he probably never looks at Penny arcade, who has been talking about GH on and off since they stumbled upon it in the very early testing phase over at Harmonix. Reading PA when you make gamer-comics yourself would, I imagine, do your confidence little good.

I don't know, maybe I'm drawing conclusions from just a few examples instead of the bigger picture. I just got the impression there was some sort of trend lag he is in.

But...you smell of popcorn oil and you have a sticky substance on your shoes...

Guys, I think we found the new trend. I'll get the oil!

It seems so different when it's not being said by a sexy lesbian to her partner.
From what my barber told me, I now knew that nothing was real.

That's not mud...

Pirating achieves the same result without having to leave home, or tolerate the sticky creatures that inhabit theaters, or the grating sounds they generate.
