"This is madness! This is Sparta!!!" In High Def

Warning: The following content is subject to offending anyone who reads it on Strayed's claim that I'm a total jackass to everyone. If you look past the fact that I obviously have utter contempt for all on this forum by some miracle, please read on. Otherwise, go brood while muttering about glowing dicks in IRC.

If you have seen 300, you will agree with me that it is the most manly of all movies to date. The sheer amount of 8-packs was dizzying enough. On top of that, 300 delivers a satisfying amount of variety in the number of ways the Persian scum are slaughtered in beautiful detail.

However, I cannot speak for regular theaters on that last point. I had not only the pleasure to see 300, but to see it at an IMAX theater, the one at Universal studios actually... Reaper and gentlemen, if you have yet to see this glorious movie, I highly recommend you take action to change this, and I further encourage you to seek out an opportunity to view this incredible movie in an IMAX theater if at all possible.

As of 2006, there are 280 IMAX theaters in 40 countries (60 percent of these are located in the United States and Canada). That means you should have some reasonable access to an IMAX theater and thus have no good excuse not to go and see 300 NOW!

I think I even saw Tele in it. I've heard that 80% of the movie is CG work. It is my belief that if Tele did act in the movie, he was the 20%. The burly part.

Tim Buckley made a crack about that before I saw any ads, I figured it must have been propoganda for GoW:2. Ack.

But yes, I can't wait to see it.

I could've seen it in IMAX too, but I had bad diarrhea and I probably would've had to run to the bathroom every 10 minutes.

I have no idea where the closest Imax is to me so looks like I'll be seeing it in a normal crappy theater.

I wonder if things tastes better when cooked over the sin-fueled fires of purgatory.

It's more amusing with "tonight" in front of it.

... What the fuck is IMAX? My local cinema has a "Deluxe Screen" with it's own bar so if that is what an IMAX is then, yes, if not, no. I was gonna see 300 last week but it was either watch 300 or spend the night in a hot tub with hot girls, drinking JD and smoking cigars whilst wearing my top hat.
In this day and age, an era where there are people who actually throw shit at each other, anything, could be possible.

IMAX is those extremely huge movie theatres. They are several stories high. They were also made in Canada.
