Robot Sex!

Postby Sage Of The Wise » Sat Oct 13, 2007 4:48 pm

Today must have been a really slow day in news.

Maby I should just make a msnbc topic to post all this stuff into...
And the Lord said unto John, "Come forth and receive eternal life." But John came fifth and won a toaster.

Robot sex has seemed pretty normal to me ever since I watched Chobits. I'd definitely rail Chi if I was in Hideki's place.

This article will undoubtedly inspire hope in many. Of course, if the figure of 2050 is accurate, most reading it giddily now will be in their 60s and 70s by the time this supposedly blessed event occurs. Taking Viagra to have sex with a robot sounds either incredibly lame or incredibly hilarious. I smell a sitcom!

P.S. Shindy: What that picture didn't show you was the massive network of tubes and machines that allowed the automaton to move with all the agility of a Chuck E. Cheese band member.

By 2050 I'll be extremely skeptical about these things. That robot actually has a horde of tiny motors under the skin, not tubes. But I think tubes are the way to go.

First Dolphins, now Robots.

What's wrong with humans?

I can't believe people actually think this could be a remotely decent idea even though Futurama already demonstrated how horrible it was. Can't we learn from the future, and not wait until we make the mistakes we're obviously going to make to learn from them?
