The reason why they can get away with it is because the dipshit buyers don't read the item description carefully. So if you're not a complete dumbass, getting ripped off and not being able to do anything about it is pretty unlikely.

You can no longer leave negative feedbacks on buyers. YAY FOR ITEM LOSERS!
There was a good reason they did that. It was because a lot of sellers were giving buyers bad feedback as retaliation for the buyers giving them bad feedback.
For example:
the first copy of Final Fantasy VII I bought said in the item description that it was in very good condition with the seller explaining the the condition of each part (discs, manual, case, etc.)
He explained that the discs were clean with no scratches and the manual was "as new".
When I recieved it, i didn't get what i expected. The manual was worn out and filthy. Covered in coffee stains. and the discs had this sticky shit on them (probably softdrink. I ruined my copy of goldeneye 007 by spilling softdrink on it. I cried
).
I gave him negative feedback for the item not being as described. Then he gave me bad feedback with the comment "you can't expect new for used". What a tool.
Luckily I filed a dispute and sent it back with a full refund (including all shipping).
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.
