Turns someone has uploaded the entire Dethalbum II onto YouTube: -

The only songs I didn't really like was Dethsupport, The Cybord Slayers and Murmaider II. I guess it is sort of sad when a fictional metal band is actually better than a lot of real bands.

And now for my favourite albums of the 00s. I've limited it to one album per band otherwise it would all be mostly Meshuggah and Opeth: -

1. Scar Symmetry - Pitch Black Progress
2. Meshuggah - Catch 33
3. Opeth - Damnation
4. Imogen Heap - Speak For Yourself
5. Eluveitie - Slania
6. Mors Principium Est - The Unborn
7. The Black Mages - Black Mages III: Darkness and Starlight
8. Joe Satriani - Strange Beautiful Music
9. Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
10. Yngwie Malmsteen - Angels of Love
11. DragonForce - Inhuman Rampage
12. Sigh - Hangman's Hymn
13. Demons & Wizards - Touched by the Crimson King
14. Guthrie Govan - Erotic Cakes
15. As Blood Runs Black - Allegiance
16. DethKlok - DethAlbum II
17. Infected Mushroom - Vicious Delicious
18. Machine Head - The Blackening
19. Carnifex - The Diseased and the Poisoned
20. Velvet Revolver - Libertad
21. Fear My Thoughts - The Great Collapse
22. John Petrucci - Suspended Animation
23. Kittie - In The Black
24. Divine Heresy - Bleed the Fifth
25. Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos (sorry Porter )

Okay, I found the full studio version of Without Walls by Tracedawn on YouTube.

If DragonForce played Melodic Death Metal it would sound something like that.

Okay, so Tracedawn and Scar Symmetry have new albums out that were released a few months ago back in '09.

Dark Matter Dimensions features Scar Symmetry's new singers and is their first album after their original singer left. Pretty good, but not really the same without their old singer tbh. Different sound is different.

Noumenon and Phenomenon

Tracedawn's new album Ego Anthem is pretty phat.

I didn't like Dark Matter Dimensions. Holographic Universe and Pitch Black Progress are far better in my opinion.
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

I think that Dark Matter Dimensions was better than Pitch Black Progress. Holograhpic Universe is their best album of all time though.

Either way, Lacuna Coil and Divine Heresy also had new albums out recently, Shallow Life and Bringer of Plagues respectively.

Now we come to the main purpose of this post... be prepared for some seriously bat-shit insane technical death metal.

Heres a cover of "Cry Little Sister" by a band from Wichita Kansas named Seasons After. The original song was done by Gerard McMahon as the theme song of the soundtrack for the 80's film Lost Boys. There really good :D. I have the album of them now because of this song.

New Avantasia Albums out now!!
Too bad that Australia has to wait months for it's music (non-mainstream music anyway), so i'm gonna have to stick with my shitty compressed mp3 downloads for now.

Here's the latest Avantasia Video from their new album The Wicked Symphony:

Edit: Solution .45 just released their debut album.

This track was actually posted for free download months back:

Also, Ratt's new album is out soon and it sounds pretty good.

A friend got me into NEWS, a Japanese boy band. XD (No, they're not like the sucky boy bands from western countries.)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCCJeaw8AWE ...I think I was introduced to this song via this (...I always liked Ryo the most in this video. XD He's fourth.). Actually, this short commercial also inspired this (it's a drawn version of the dance with Samurai Warriors guys).

I could totally see somebody animate that dance with "The Way" characters. With Rhue first, then Therin, then Traziun, then Slade, then Gaius and finally Strata. XD (I had Slade and Gaius the other way around at first, but I couldn't see Slade dancing like that for the life of me. And that last one just screams Strata at me.)

Went to a Sonata Arctica concert the other day, still really good despite how questionable their new direction has been.

Danny Kaye doing a skit where he scat-sings everything (the whole video only has a few English in it).

There

...Why can I actually see Midian doing this?
