You pay attention to the lyrics? Wait, you actually understand them?

The best death metal bands I've listened to are Arch Enemy, Mors Principium Est, Scar Symmetry and, of course, DethKlok.

some good ol' Mourning Tide is pretty good too. not really metal though. It's an interesting mixture of a few genres. I don't really know where to place it.

Children of Bodom Is also great.

Oh. and I seem to be liking Opeth's Harvest more than I do Porcelain Heart... Yeah sure it's like the song everyone likes from opeth but i can see why.
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

Sling Last FM is good for music in general Youtube takes up too much bandwith where Im at right now. :( Death Metal some of the bands have "clean" vocals. Also Death Metal or other types of metal with screaming have Song Titles you know the few words on your screen that tell you the name of the song. lol Also Im doing an expository on heavy metal right now so in general I know what each subgenre "talks" about. Also I have very good hearing. :) :D

Actually Lamb of God is metalcore.

Lately metalcore has become an umbrella term.

Metalcore is mostly the heavy metal sound with screaming/harsh vocals, BUT is not as hard or harsh as death metal, black metal, or doom metal. Lamb of God is definetly metalcore.

Metalcore is mostly what I listen to and I could compare Lamb of God to Killswitch.
