So I joined a torrent tracker called Romanian Metal Torrents

http://metal.iplay.ro/

Last time I checked the registration was open. You guys should probably check it out. I downloaded 24bit 96khz Opeth vinyl rips from there. Definitely an awesome site. Watch out though. Like all private trackers RMT requires it's users to keep up a ratio.

Edit: I blew my amp listening to Thunderstone. Too bad too because although it was 20 years old, it was as tough as nails. Anyone got any suggestions for a replacement amp? I only really want to buy a new amp as a last resort. I'd much prefer one from late 80s or early 90s (build quality was usually much better. Fuck you throw away society!!).
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

I now have a Marshall TSL601, which I managed to get half price for £449. Still waiting for my Schecter Blackjack ATX C-8 to arrive. In case you are wondering: -

Fellsilent - Immerse

I like this band, although the singer sounds like Oli Sykes, and the kids in the audience in the video look like the kind that listens to really shit deathcore bands.

Deathcore is an evil, EVIL subgenre. And not in a good way. It's especially annoying when people call it death metal. Or when people ask me "hey CJ, what music do you listen to?" and i'll reply "death metal" and then they'll ask "oh... you mean like... Bring me the Horizon and Eternallord?"

There are some good deathcore bands, but they are few and far between, and are completely outclassed by proper death metal bands, like Nile.

Where exactly is this alternate dimension where you can name a genre with the word metal in it and the average person knows about anything more than Metallica?

Just got into Before the Dawn myself. I actually found out about them by reading my Across the Dark booklet, which in my opinion is Insomnium's best album.
