what's up folks? any news concerning the way and Lun?

Game over man, there is no more The Way. Lun is off being a writer, only way if there is ever anything more to do with The Way is if he writes a book about it.

I hear the Lun's next post is almost in beta.

I'm pretty sure Lun scrapped the book, or at least put it aside. Last time I spoke with him (this month) he told me he was nostalgic of the RPG format, so keep your fingers crossed people.

Also after almost 10 years I've reached my 500th post. woot.

My god the master of afk is now more active then Jeramyu.

Another RPG made by Lun would be nice, especially if it were at all related to The Way. A book would be okay, but an RPG is preferable.

A prequel to The Way would be nice. Anything to give us more information about the game environment/lore would be outstanding. Hell I'd even be content with a pamphlet.

Me too. A few weeks ago I started playing from ep 1 because I bought a crappy rpg. 2 worlds 2 anyone? hell no

I do hope Lun continues with his book too, though. If he is having trouble finding a publisher than he could self-publish using Lulu.

Don't think he's even at that stage yet. He's not even done writing it.

I once though about making a The Way based minecraft server. Its about the only game who world reminds me of The Way actually. An endless expanse, monsters, and even a lower way.

Coincidentally enough CJ and I were discussing this last night. Another game would be good, but how to top what's already been done? A book about the way would be best, be it merely a retelling of the story with extra scenes to provide more information/different PoV's, or even a kind of encyclopaedia of the way, so that we can better understand the world it all happens in. Personally, I'd like a book of short stories, maybe a story from someone travelling with a group through the lower reaches, story by a forerunner, story about someone investigating one of the aura swords, y'know all the interesting stuff that was touched upon in the way but not explained in detail.
And a goddamn short story about what happens when you defeat those 2 ridiculously bosses and get the hardest ending. The other 2 endings are fairly understandable, but I still have no fucking idea what happened there, and I am not going back to try and do it again, that shit was fucked.
