Yeah, I had a pension built up, I might as well keep investing in it along with an rIRA. Summers off.

Oh Porter. You're such a rake. This is where I'd include one of my signature ASCII faces, but I don't do that anymore.

How did I not marry you? Holy shit.

Thanks dear. It sounds like everyone is doing so well. I'm especially glad to hear about your house, that's exciting.

As for me, I've managed to escape the states. You'll never guess where I am. Hint: It's in Europe, technically.

Eh... the UK is a shit-hole. A charming shit-hole, granted, but a shit-hole nonetheless. Mostly because it has been run into the ground by a series of retarded statist governments, and the Guardianistas and Daily Mail readers who voted for them.

In other news, I'm getting married in June. I'm getting married in Texas, and then my girlfriend is going to apply for a Visa directly as my spouse. It's cheaper and easier that way, otherwise she'd have to apply first as my fiancee and then as my spouse once we were married.

Heh, decided to check in just to see what was going on. Nice to see all of you guys again.

I got a degree in teaching, currently working as a teacher, not a steady job, but at least I've got a foot in. Hoping for an extension this fall. Been doing some acting and participated in a few plays, currently writing a short screenplay for a show this fall. Got a lovely girlfriend, seems legit and will probably be the one I grow old with.

I've gotta say though, I'm thankful for all you guys, you gave me a lot of good times, great laughs and simply great friends.

If anyone wants to chat some late night add me on skype, same nickname and all. Just write crestfallen in the message when you add me. ;)

Also, Porter, you still got that progressive FTP?

Looks like I'm getting Skype...

Also. Been musing on this for a while. None of us have any good reason, but we all seem to pop in once a quarter or something. Maybe we could organize another Way-fest Chat Party thing. Crestfallen Reunion. That sorta thing.

Anyone?

That sounds like something I would definitely be interested in... which kind of odd given how anti-social I am. Then again. I have solved various personal existential crises and gotten over various neurological difficulties, so that might explain things.

In other news, I've complete a BA (Hons) in History and Music. I predict I will get a 2:1 (Upper Second.) I've applied to do an MA in Cultural History at the same place I did my BA, and am applying for various librarian jobs, since those pay reasonably well and suit my obsessive Aspergian personality. I'm also getting married this June in San Antonio. My girlfriend/fiancee just needs to sort out a visa to move to the UK.

Whoah, there's still people in this place!
Hehe...

I graduated, found a job.
Moved from my parent's place.
Found a girlfriend.
Married her.
Moved from Europe to US, WA.
Made tons of new friends in here, got a job.

Tryin' to make a friend of mine to play The Way - he got stuck at a second fight in tournament at Ep.2... It's could be lost but he's tryin' to win and it's takin' him a while... 'ts been three weeks already! -)

[EDIT] Almost ten years passed... Woooow...

Well, I got a 2:1 (Upper Second) classification for my degree as predicted, and got an unconditional offer to study the MA, which I am currently studying. I am currently writing an essay on British War Culture during World War I. I also have to write an essay on the relationship between football (soccer) and commercialism in late 19th century/early 20th century Britain.

I'm also still unemployed, though. Successive generations of constant government meddling in the market have de-stabilised the economy to the point where it is exceptionally difficult to get a job, and the value of currency has dropped considerably making it increasingly difficult to make a living anyway.

Heyyyy....updaaaaate....

I was living in New York for a year and a half, working at a law firm called Weitz & Luxenberg. Handled asbestos litigation, mostly smoked pot every day and took up hula hooping at dance parties. Now I'm somewhat sadly sober. I mean, it's okay. You know, whatever.
Now I'm back in my home town, living with my mother, working at an eyecare clinic two towns over as a temp agent this past month. Just got informed today they may not need my position long-term, soooo job hunt may be continuing soon.
Still play video games, been playing Phantasy Star Online with a buddy because hey, we have a gamecube. Last girlfriend was an emotionally draining success-aholic, haven't dated since. Also, I work out (cue shitty music).

I know you all were wondering, "Man, I wonder how Gleen is, he was so cool!" Or something relatively relative to that statement, or without the cool part, or with the cool part. Well, Gleen is good. I love you, I miss you, huzzah.

- Gleen. 47.
