I agree, thats how I pronounce them and I don't see how they can be pronounced any other way and still sound like good names. In fact, I've always pronounced them that way, it's pretty obvious.
I don't see Escreons or Korens problem.

I had always said Jer-oo. Now that I think about it, i cant think of why i did, it just seemed right.

Indeed. None can argue about how to pronounce the names, because everyone is pronouncing it as their mind tells them it's right.
I always said Jer-oo, too.
Don't argue with an idiot because he will bring you down to his level and beat you on experience.

I've always said it Jer-uh.

I don't understand how you could say it any other way...

uh, oo.. both seem to suit.
Although I think that Jer-oo sounds better, thats how I've always said it.

Yeah, but Lun has said that it is jer-uh, and how they are pronounced are important because of Gaius's hint of "But still, why does his name strike me as odd?Wasn't that the name of...Maybe it's just a coincidence."

Maybe it's the name of a past Pharaphalyn.

That's kinda interesting. Maybe the sword Rhue was using was used by the Pharaphalyn? Could be I guess, but it's just speculation till episode 6 comes out.

That's how I pronounce them too. I just don't like the way that Sling said it like that was the absolute right way of saying it, and everyone who didn't pronounce it like that couldn't speak English.
He then said:

Which only annoyed me further.

There's been no Official Way Name Pronunciation Guide . . . so it's silly to say that there is definitely only ONE way to say any of those names. I think the name of Jeruh is causing most of the problems - and you have to admit, there are a few valid ways to say it. Unless Lun says which way is correct, I think it's valid to pronounce it as you see fit.

Hmph. Very well, I'm a bastard. The mighty Lun has spoken, and his Word is Truth. That post clears things up nicely, but since we're splitting hairs . . .
What syllable is the emphasis on? Is it JER-uh? Or je-RUH? :?

As to any of the other names, there really should be no debate.

I supplied are the 100% correct way because

Duh!! Are a retard or something?
