If you look in the coding in rpgmaker you'll find that alot of the shadow men are actually labelled as the phantom slasher. True this may be a trick by Lun to lead us on.
Its equally as possible that Rhue does have a split personality as Rhue and the Phantom Slasher. The phantom slasher could still be looking after rhue, just as you said gauis was, but it only happens when rhue shifts personality. This could explain scenes when they are seen together as another psychological phenomenon, but it could also prove that rhue doesn't share his mind with anyone.

it could mean that Rhue is the chosen one!!! (no one really puts their mind into this but the story... hi... Lyrra made up was about the main person being the "chosen one")

so he could have the power to make a energy form into the shape of a shadow and pwn

... im just not crazy enough....
HE IS TEH CHOSEN ONE MEANS HE BE TEH PHANTOM SHADOW ???? is it possable?

Perhaps the split personality, is the one that gaius mentions in Lide. He (and apparently noone else) doesn't know that it's split, though.

Im sort of a newbie but i just finished the way and i have a question. are all of the shadowed figures supposed to be the phantom slasher or are there aother characters that appear like that.

in different scenes there are other shadowwed characters like scatha in episode 2 and kygar and cetsa (again in episode 2).
most of them are the PS. apart maybe from the shadow figure with odd hair you plunge with in 3. We don't know who that is yet

okay since Rhue after EP5 is superpwnz0r, i doubt there is any monster left in human world that can take him or any plunger... i wonder how the fights are gonna be like...

Which comes back to my theory about Traziuns mother being killed by the PS..... even at the end of ep5, Rhue has nothing on Traziun.....
