You keep track of how much Hp you have during a plunge?

Not exactly. I just pressed "F9" during the Credits to see how close I had come to falling, and as Plunge stats aren't reset until you enter another one...

I beat Strata at last. It was pure luck and no skill, truly it
was act of God. Nothing was more satisfying then
Stratas face covered in blood and Rhue grinning
like a maniac after the greatest plunge battle ever fought.
All 3 Ovals were Red/Orange and then I managed to
inflict 88 points of damage on him, how sweet the sound, smell and taste of victory is. [/img]

How many times has this topic gone completely off-topic so far? Honestly, it's ridiculous.

Yeah you should make a new thread if you want to talk about plunge stats.

All plunges are easy if you just take your turns well

Who cares if this is off topic, we're people who appreciate
The Way talking to each other about The Way and
it's vast superiority to Final Fantasy etc.

Oh well, anyway back on topic, apparently Wes is the
Pharaphalyn which is impossible as he got the shit
kicked out of him by that Headhunter in Ep 1.
Anyway I think that Gaius is the PS now.

And yes plunges are piss, but the ones against Strata
are a bit of a bastard epsecially the one at the start
of Ep. 5. I hope Strata gets killed off because he was
such an ass to Lyrra.

There's only one difficult plunge in E6, or the whle series, for that matter. The others are all easy as hell.

And the one I'm talking about is still easy if your damage Threshold is high enough.

The more important thing is that the plunges for the most part are much more balanced injury wise, not many step 4s to be seen.

The reason enemy's Damage Threshold is usually high, is so you won't always hit an injury 4 on them. Even though in most episodes it is easy to inflict 4th degree injuries.

The Ender Blade art makes Step 4 injuries VERY easy.

"Lesser Opponants" apply to most of the enemies in the game, apparently.

Yeah I'd have to agree, except the fights against
strata, everything else is piss. I hate
strata he's such a prick, he's like one of
those people who drink milk straight from
the carton. GRAAGHH.
