If I die because of your monster contest... well, it will probably mean a lot of publicity for The Way, actually. Maybe even TV coverage. Damnit!

That would be bad since LunC would probably be arrested for use of a pirated program. It doesn't matter what you use that's pirated as long as none of your creations make headlines, but if you ever become famous due to something made with a program, than you better make sure the program is legit.

Otherwise

You know, I think if you buy RPGMaker 2000, and make your own graphics, and everything, you can sell it. But people can't tell if you used a bought version of RPGMaker or not.

Didn't know there was such a thing...
Fading into the night,
The scourge of fear, the blight.
Upon this land beneath the sky.
Echoes of the past decry.

In that a lost love carried on
The words to a lonely song.

Yes, everyone must surely bleed!

Lun is not known for taking excessive risk particularly when great gain might be maintained through minimal research and expense.

Nicely done, sir, nicely done. Nobody buys it since any potential games you make probably won't be successful, but when you have a game like the Way, the $40 or whatever is well worth it if it frees you from any pesky legal issues.

nightshadow - I don't believe there is a legal English version (the one we all have was translated and illegally distributed by Don Miguel), but there is definitely a legal Japanese version made by Enterbrain.

Actually, Lun, are you gonna have to explain to the Feds how you used the legal Japanese program to make an English game with English programming commands? Unless you know an assload of Japanese, which is possible . . . I guess. Johnny Cochran would have gotten you off, at least if he wasn't dead.

:D ME = OWNED

For those who care, Lun's quote roughly translates into, "I study Japanese everyday. Suck a fat one." Except for the fat one part.

Watashi = I (feminine or adult)
Nihongo = Japanese (the language)

Basically he's saying that he knows the language.
Sumimasen for my poor translation Lun, after that thing I gave ya for Japanese learning...

Watashi is the universal I for japanese, Atashi is the way women may use it

And Ole XD (can't believe Cloud refers to himself that way when he was so womanly in AC)

Unfortunately, that's kind of null and void, because a few things have been ripped from other games (most notably Dream Estrana's music... it's obviously Nibelheim's music from FF7...).
