I think that, probaly, Rhue finds Serena, but they continue in a journey along the way, for some reason. Heck, I wouldn't be suprised if episode 7 started with Rhue and Serena's child and the story centers around him/her for the rest of the Way saga.

This is, of course, assuming that Serena is the same person Rhue remembers... for all we know (for now) Serena is a MUCH different person than when they were kids. People can change a lot, and I'm sure Lun wouldn't overlook that pivotal fact of life... plus, who's to say that he even finds her? Maybe he just finally gives up? Or maybe she died long ago?
