Size of Ep6 download

Postby Noodles » Sat Jan 14, 2006 10:50 am

Hey,
Anyone got any idea how big the zip file for Ep6 will be? I'm on 56k dial up that disconnects me every two hours.

I've never used Torrent and so don't know if it even works on 56k, does anyone know?

A year back when I got Ep5, it had been seperated into two different zip files that you could put togeather after downloading... Will the same thing be done for Ep6?

20.1MB for me. Took me about 10 mins at 35kb per second on my unexplainably slow DSL.

I'm on the same thing, it took me about an hour and five minutes. If you are downloading something it shouldn't disconnect because it's telling the computer that it's in use

Its part of my crumy deal I had with the ISP.. I pay little money and they get to disconnect me every 2 hours just for a laugh -_-

I was able to download it in the end.. took me longer to get the bit torrent downloaded; installed; and then sorting out of the problems that arose, along with something else I had to download and installed for the bit torrent to work..

It was 20.1 mb for me, and I used bitorrent, but because of my extremely crappy dsl connection, it peaked at 4kb/s.
I didn't have bitorrent at the start of the day though, so this is what happened:
At about 10am, I downloaded it using a different thingy, which took about 2 hours, then when I tried to instal it it said the file was invalid.
So then I spent half an hour downloading bitorrent, so that I could download it using bitorrent, which took another 2 hours.
While I was waiting during that second lot of 2 hours, my sister stole the computer, and didn't get off until about 11:50pm, which means that by the time I installed and prepared to start playing episode 6, it was after 12:30am, instead of about 12:30 pm as I had originally planned.
As you probably guessed, I was (and still am) thoroughly pissed off and I will spend the rest of the month (maybe a few months) treating my sister like shit.

It was a while before I figured out how to make the game work.
