Unless you're a vampire, they show your reflection.
In Rhue's case, they make him feel weird.

Having so many personalities, I'm not shocked that Rhue has a hard time recognizing himself in the mirror.

But do the mirrors actually effect the game though? Or are they like a little mini sub quest for those who can be bothered finding them?

Even though the game keeps track of the number of mirrors you have looked at (until some point in Episode 6), no one has found any effect they have in the game.

But i know there should. it's useless to track how manymirrors you looked at when there are nothing in signifucant to it..

I think that's another one of Lun's ideas that he never followed up on. Such as the likeness-to-serena points.

But mirrors. Consider this: when does 'Rhue' have time to develop a long-standing dislike for mirrors, unless it is carried over from his true self? That would mean a dominant aura is not totally dominant... err, this is kinda a spoiler I guess. I'd better stop.

there has been a post about this a LONG time ago, the only effect noticed was something rhue says in the laboratory of sacrifica while standing on that pentagram. If you have a good character (not looking in the mirrors and staying on the law side of life - NOT PUSHING PPL OFF CLIFFS :p) then he dislikes standing there...
OR SO I WAS TOLD in that post. Don't shoot me though.

That is correct except that looking in mirrors does not affect it.
