Don't worry, I think it's just becuase his brain lags behind ours. He's just such a dumbass he doesn't realise the conversation about LOTR finished and was off-topic in the first-place.

Yes because if the LOTR films followed the books exactly they'd all be over 5 hours long dumbass.

yea? well shut up. if a movie is made about something like that they sould make it completly or not at all.
Then you are a fucking moron. Swallow your tongue and die. Seriously, shut the fuck up and stay on-topic.

I dunno who should be the director, but I agree with Angel_OA about how Slade's family should be portrayed.

As long as we can't see who the people in Slade's family are, I'm satisfied.

Even though I am reluctant to bring LOTR again because of someones previous stupidity over the whole matter but it should be like when Frodo looks into Galadriel's mirror in the first film but more distorted so you can't see who they are.

Or like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. But obviously used more subtly.

Going back, who should be the director? Seriously?

I stand by my idea.

Steven Soderbergh? Did you even put any thought into that?
I vote David Lynch. He works with a unique approach to complicated ideas such as the subconcious mind and dillusion. I can't think of a better person to pick up LunC's work and take it to the next level.

Yeah, he sounds like the ideal person for this role.

lun would have to direct it, any one else would screw it up.

Has Lun taken any courses etc or anything which involves directorship etc... question mark? Even then could he be arsed? I mean, he has worked his ass of making The Way, I wouldn'treally expect him to do this unless he wanted to.

Lun should obviously have some sort of editorial discretion, but asking him to direct is not the answer. He writes damn good stories, but I don't think he knows enough about the film-making process to churn out a quality film. It would be the equivalent of asking Tolkien to direct LOTR, or John Grisham to direct The Firm.

Yeh, i agree that he shouldn't direct it, however he should be involved somehow to make sure that it doesn't turn out crap

Well, If Lun wasn't involved in the film-making process whatsoever then it would defeat the entire point and instantly make the film shit.

You mean if Lun wasn't involved, right?
