Yeah, but because of a tileset bug in Episode 2, you can't look at the mirror in Kygar's room.

Re: Notch/Tech/Aura/Blade Art List.

Postby satan_n_stuff » Sun Apr 22, 2012 9:16 am

I'm currently doing a playthrough of the Way, I just got to episode 6, it looks like the faq is lost to us and this one doesn't cover ep6 so I will be logging any items etc I find and I'll post them here periodically. ( Yes I registered an account just for that. )

Update: Plunge stats finished
The City:

Every time you enter the house of pnoe you have a 1 in 21 chance of seeing a cloaked man sitting at a table on the top row. Talk to him if he's there and he'll ask you to guess the number he's thinking of, the answer is three. Get it right and you'll get a cross stone, a lunge stone and a drop stone.
The small shack next to the southeast corner of the large gap has a chest with a blan rock in it, just jump past the intimidating spike platforms, it's in a small room to the right.
There is a chest with a stricite directly north of the House of Pnoe.
You can find a mend stone in shack south of the concert hall, east of Celestria's boutique. The concert hall is the large building east of the central hall, with the flowers in front of it.
There are two heartstones and a stricite in the arastotzi shack which is northeast of The Scene and south of graveyard.
You can find a poster on the left side of a bookshelf in the house with flowers by the door ( yes, that one from ep5 ) northwest of the concert hall.

Sewer:

You'll need to do a bit of swimming to get through here but it's actually fairly straignforward. You can find a heart stone and a Wicite in a small room to the bottom right of the first room, another wicite can be found in a small room at the top left of the first room. Go to the room in the bottom left of the fist room and flip the lever, the grate blocking off the island will now be gone. The chest on the island in the middle of the first room contains a heart stone, there is an exit in the water leading to the next room, you can find a wicite at the bottom of this room. There is a secret room at the bottom right of the second room, you'll need to swim to get there, in here you will find the CTP Catalyst. Flip the lever at the top of the second room and you'll be able to reach the room to your right by swimming back and going through the now open door. In that room you will find the key to the door at the top left of the first room where the exit is.

Lost City:

There is a piece of Wicite in the house at the sewer exit.
To reach altair manor you'll need to go enter a door at the top left of this area, then make your way around the docks and take the lower exit at the bottom. Make your way down and left and you'll reach the manor.

Altair Manor:

Go up and enter the manor, then take either exit leading up. There are two heartstones at the back end of this room.
Take the exit to the right and you'll find a piece of focite and the stairs to the second floor. Go up the stairs and open the chests to get a pocite and a heart stone, then go left.
In the bottom left corner of this room is a lunge stone, and if you take the lower exit you can find a drop stone on the balcony. After the cutscene two sidequests open up, the first one starts right here, the second starts in the house north of the graveyard.

Sidequests:

Altair Manor Part Two: ( requires Altair Manor )

You can find (2)Heart guard for sacrifa outside at the back of the manor.
Go back inside and take the right exit and you'll find a kritar shell. Go back to the previous room and continue straigt up, there are a stricite and heart stone in the kitchen.
Go up to the second floor and go left, you can find a wicite in the bedroom to the left and there is a noise coming from the closet, open the closet.
Go back to the previous room and go down, enter the first room to the right and you'll find a cross stone.
Go back to the entrance and this time go left, there are a blan rock and a heart stone in this room and in the hallway after this room you will find (2)Strong back for sacrifa.
Keep going and you'll reach an obvious boss room with an obvious boss fight, win and you'll get a key, lose and you'll die.

The Forest: ( Requires Altair Manor )

To get to the forest you'll need teleport to the rightmost teleporter on the map, then enter a house north of the teleporter. The grate or whatever it is on the back wall will tell you how many items ate left in the forest, the teleporter leads directly to the forest. Every save point in the forest can teleport you back to the house but if you leave you the next time you enter the forest you'll be back at the start so I advise you not to leave.
A short distance up from the save point are two chests, accessible through a barely visible hidden passage to the right, containing (3)XL Pressure for Sacrifa and a heart stone. Go left from the save point, on the next screen there is a hidden passage toward the end of the path to the right leading to a heart stone. Continue to the right and and you'll reach an area with two chests. The first chest contains a heart stone, you will have to go around another way for the other one. Go back and continue along the path, past the save point is another hidden passage going south, then east leading to a lell rock. Further along the path is a hidden passage directly in front of you leading to a lunge stone. Going around the trees up and to the right there is another hidden passage leading to a stricite. Move down past the savegame and go left at the end of the path is a hidden passage to another path, follow the path until you reach a small indentation on the bottom edge, there is a hidden passage here. Go down and left, then down again to find a chest with a heart stone in it. Go back to the main path and head down to where you started, then go left. On the next screen there is a small indentation with a flower on the opposite side, in the indentation is another secret passage going down. Follow the next path past the save point, to the left past a big rock is a hidden passage leading to a chest with a piece of focite. Continue along the path until you reach a save point, to the left of the save point is another hidden passage, leading to several chests, the first one contains a cross stone, there is a passage on the upper left of this area which will lead you to a stricite ( Go left, then up, then right ). There are two hidden passages going down, both lead to the same chest with a blan rock. Back on the main path, past the save point where the path is really narrow there is a hidden passage going down to a lyn rock. Going back and following the path you'll see the path curve down, there is a hidden passage to the right here, the path itself is a dead end. Follow the path and you'll see a big wall, just past it there is a hidden passage leading down to a piece of wicite. Continue along the path, the next save point is in an area with a lot of confusing hidden passages leading down, I won't list them all here but you should be able to navigate this area by moving from one clearing to the next. Going right from the end of the path, then up and right you will find a piece of stricite. Going down from the left side of the area you'll see a set of four clearings arranged vertically, going left from the bottom one you will find a pocite and a save point. Going right from the second one from the top, past a set of five small clearings, changing direction a couple of times and eventually going down you will reach a clearing with some grass, going up from here you will find a soul stone, going down you will reach an area where you can fight a plunge battle for the downpour blade art.

Finisher #3

You can find a drop stone in this area. Going back to the set of five clearings the middle one has a passage leading down to another clearing, go left from here to reach the next area. There is a hidden passage to the next clearing to the left, the next passage is a couple of steps up from the one you came through, it leads to the right an up to a larger clearing with a chest with the wave blade for midian. Just below the flowers you can find another hidden passage to the right and leading up towards a piece of wicite. Going down from the very end of the larger clearing you'll reach another path leading to the next area. Following the path to the end and going down you will find a heart stone. Going down from between the two trees you will find the passage to the final area. Make your way to the gravestone at the end of the path, as you've probably been expecting there is a boss at the end of the forest, so brace yourself because it's boss time ( oh yeah )...
Check the gravestone and prepare for... nothing. No boss? You can't have a dungeon with no boss! Not even a teeny tiny notch item for your trouble? Maybe there's a hidden passage around here somewhere? Of course there is, go left from the hole where the gravestone used to be and continue onward, just a few more hidden passages to get to the real end of this area. After the boss fight you will receive the AR catalyst.

Job Interview:

Try to enter the scene and you'll get a short cutscene, after which you'll have to answer some questions. The answers are Straphalyn, 20, 5, 7, Alliterration, abba ( a poem structure, not the pop group ), the last question boosts your relationship with all the girls who have the hair color you picked. Brown and purple are both good choices for this episode, but if your relationship with Kloe isn't all that good picking blonde might give you a better ending. If you get all the questions right you will receive a pocite, a wicite and a blan rock.

The Play:

If you've done the Altair Manor sidequest you'll be able to do a little bonus plunge by opening the second door in the hidden passage and walking to the end of the cavern. Be sure to save first because if you lose this one you die. You'll get the destroyer blade art and something else if you win.

Finisher #4

There is no loot to be found during the play, but you'll need to do your best because you'll be rewarded later. When prompted you'll need to choose the following: "I do not agree.", "Yes, and this worries me." , "More beast than woman." "I do not trust them." , your choice for the last one doesn't affect the reward and you'll have a boss fight either way so do whatever you want.

The Scene:

You can find the defensive blade for midian at the bottom of the large empty room
+2 to focus, will and poise for finding Dyson with the lights going crazy ( He's in the middle of the dance floor )
Speak to Alan for the reward for the play ( I got a lyn rock, are there other rewards or is this it? )
Speak to Vashti for the reward for the lights, I got a blan rock, heart stone and a soul stone, I think that's the best reward

After the play the north half of the city becomes accessible.

(3)Peace for sacrifa can be found in the arena/hotel lobby, bottom left corner
Heart stone at jopaga's place
heart stone in the lab ( where Rhue got captured in ep4 )
Heart stone in the first room after the cavern
Heart stone in the third room after the cavern ( where sorya was being interrogated )
Focite and wicite in the room after the second cavern
Pocite in the second part of the same room
Cross stone in puzzle room
Heart stone in the puzzle room, top left
Another heart stone, top right
And another heart stone between the other two

The Party:

Do not agree to having the girl "entertain" Icabod, she won't like it, agree to talk to everyone.
Tell Alan his idea is pretty good.
When talking to exmus, downplay your skills to get a heart stone.
Do not talk to any of the women on the first floor. ( Unless I tell you to )
Go to the kitchen and grab some cheese, a drink and the rightmost piece of cake.
Talk to the red haired woman who is talking to Icabod, try to help her and eat the cake in front of Icabod.
Talk to the blue haired woman on the second floor for a sidequest.
Go to the bedroom ( the doorway below the exhibition ) by the wall opposite the bed is a mousetrap, place the cheese in it.
Talk to the girl to start the dance.
After the dance, talk to Alan, then look at the dictionary ( room to the right of the kitchen, top right of the room )
Talk to the woman who's with Alan, then talk to Celestria on the second floor, return to the woman for a Heart stone.
There are three ways to get to the basement, the first and worst option is getting the prostitute drunk and convincing the guard she's waiting for him allowing you to get in the chest, your date will not like this.
The second is to work with Vera and seduce the old woman, your date won't like this, but it's better than the first option.
The third and best option is to light the candles on the second floor, knock them over to distract the guard so you can get in the chest.
To do this check on the mousetrap, take the mouse, go to the closet ( Vashti will be standing in front of it )and push the mouse under the door. Vashti will give you a matchbox.
Now go upstairs and light the candles on the table, then knock them over.
Open the chest and put the items in the box in the bottom right corner of the room, then get in the chest.
When you get back to the party, go to the balcony ( above the exhibition ) if you did everything right you'll get a wicite, two pieces of focite and a faithful heart ( unique notch item )
During the trial, tell the truth about you asking about the stone ( there is a witness ), deny threatening Icabod ( no witnesses ).
If you haven't incriminated yourself during the party or the trial you'll receive a lyn rock, cross stone, lunge stone, drop stone and a heart stone.

At this point most sidequests become available, some of these unlock alternate endings, if for some reason you don't want to do them you can skip the next section and pick up at Reflective Sky.

Tomb sidequest: ( required for an alternate ending )

Go to the graveyard after getting the portal stone and activate the gravestone on the right. Continue onward until you reach the puzzle room in jopaga's lab. You can find a lunge stone and a drop stone in the first room connecting to the walkway. The fourth room has a kritar shell and a stricite. Go to the third room and jump in the water, swim to theroom to the left and use the switch to drain the water, then go back to the large room, it's puzzle time. Activate the doors to see the combination for that door, the leftmost lever activates the lights, the lever at the bottom resets the puzzle, the others change the order in which the lights go on. The door on the left leads to a lyn rock and a dead end ( sort of ). For this door, use the top lever on the left twice and the other two once, then use the second and fourth lever on the bottom row three times, then use the bottom lever on the right side once. Now use the leftmost lever to activate the lights.
For the door on the right you need to use the middle lever on the left once, the bottom one three times, use the second lever on the bottom row once and the third twice, the top lever on the right needs to be hit twice and the bottom one three times. Behind door number two is the crescent key, which you will ( obviously ) need later. Go back to the switch and fill the room with water again, you can now swim past the gap behind the left door where there is a heart stone waiting for you. Dive in the gap to find another room with the star key in it. Go back to the walkway over the lab and continue right. Jump in the water and hit the switch you see to your right, you can now swim up to the sewer. It is a good idea to save your game somewhere. You'll need navigate a maze with swimming monsters try not to drown because that ends the game, you can go back to the previous screen to refill your air and if you get eaten the maze resets. Above the save point at the end of the maze is an exit to Icabod's basement where you will find a lunge stone, drop stone, stricite, blan rock, kritat shell, pocite and a heart stone. The second exit leads to another basement but there's nothing interesting there right now, continue swimming to the right and you'll reach the tomb. Go through the door, after the cutscene go back inside and get the blan rock and lyn rock from the chests. *Note: the chest with the blan rock is supposed to give you a nova stone if you don't have a fourth yet but I've never gotten one from this chest.

House of the rising sun:

Teleport to the arena and make your way east across the bridge, then go south down, the stairs and move further down until you're standing next to the flowers below the window of the house. from this point you can jump down across the gap. There is a doorway to the southeast with some flowers next to it, go inside. On the right side of the bookshelf is a poster. If you talk to the man in the top seat you'll hear they're having some problems, so let's go solve them. Step behind the counter and talk to the woman. Go to the scene, the woman you're looking for is sitting at the table north of the dancefloor. ( Yes it's the prostitute from the party, and the dj is her "date". ) After talking to Fallow go back to the house and talk to Nadia again. She'll move aside to let you through, so break open some chests while you're here. The top right one contains a mend stone, the left one contains hilarity if you've got a certain someone in your party. The top chest in Fallow's room has a lunge stone in it, inside the other one is a blan rock. Walk to the end of the horizontal hallway for a piece of stricite.

The Treasure Trove:

You can jump across the gap north of the house you just visited and then jump right to gain access to the small blocked off square. The door on the north side leads to the treasure trove, a room with three pieces of wicite, pocite and focite, two blan rocks and a stricite in it.

The Arena:

Make your way to the arena and open the chest in the bottom left corner if you haven't already. Talk to the guard on the left side of the doorway at the end of the lobby. After the cutscene talk to the guy on the left to start your first arena plunge. If you look closely you can see just about everyone in the city in the audience. I suggest revving the crowd up during all your entrances as you'll need to be quite popular for a rare bonus item. Finishing fights quickly will also help a lot. Alternatively you can insult the crowd and laugh at the hilarious dialogue, the fourth fight is much more interesting this way. Anyway beat the crap out of your first opponent.

You can find Haskin in the top right corner, he'll give you the champion key. Now for the arena, you will be fighting Saiteh and she is a tough one. She's got a rather low plunge but a lot of hp and a massive dt so bring downpour if you have it and lay on as much damage as possible. Ender is especially useful here as it can save you about three to four passes of punishment. Win and you'll get +30 max hp for the whole party. ( It's not like any of them helped you or anything but hey, free hp . )

The Scene: ( You need to be arena champion for this )

Make your way to the scene, and open the chest in the elevator for poster. The boss wants to talk to you so go and meet him above the dancefloor. Yes, we're going to do another barrucha cave, I know how much you liked the last one but this one has loads of treasure in it. Starting with a focite and two heart stones, and two pieces of wicite in the chest to the south though you'll have to go around via the north side. There is a blan rock to the west of the wicite. Going north, then east you can find two heart stones. Going south from the two chests and then going straight north you'll find a cross stone. To the west of the platform you just passed is a stricite, to the east is a lell rock. go north and wait at the bridge, then jump across. On the other side is a chest with a kritar shell. Keep moving and you'll reach a lever, which you'll need to flip to progress. go back to the platform with the two chests and continue north. You'll need to wait at the bridge leading west, then jump across the gap. There is a chest with two heart stones on this platform. Continue south, then go east for a drop stone., then continue along the main path and you'll reach a chest with a lunge stone. Continue onward and you'll reach a chest with two heart stones. Go around north for the two chests you can see from here, one has two heart stonea and the other has a blan rock in it. You'll need to wait at the bridge leading east, you know the routine by now. Go north past the gap for a chest with a pocite. continue west and follow the path, at the end is a chest with a piece of stricite, a save point and a sign marking the end of the maze. Save your game and head back. You'll be knocked off a bridge, north is the barrucha boss, soth is the teleporter to the exit. If you defeat the boss you get the barrucha call move and +1 XL retention and you get the oneness-elemental field for Sacrifa. Now go back the the entrance and talk to the guy, you can now do the whole thing all over again only now it's timed and you can't die more than ten times, have fun. Once you activate the sign the time stops and you'll teleport back to the exit. Talk to the guy to get your reward. The reward is a piece of stricite, a blan rock and a soul stone.

Freefall: ( You need to be arena champion for this )

After you defeat Exmus you can go to a house southwest of the graveyard for some air time. If you manage to go through all the rings you'll get a lyn rock.

The Date: ( You need to be arena champion for this )

If you got the special bonus from the Rosa plunge you can go to her house, make sure to examine everything inside for some quick laughs. There is a poster in a chest on the second floor. Examine the picture in the bedroom, this will get you an extra reward during the date. Go to Alan's mansion ( which used to be Sacrifa's mansion ), on the second floor on the left side of the bookshelf next to the stairs you can find a poster. Pick up the tickets from the table on the ground floor, you'll have to choose one of the girls to go on a date with, I suggest choosing the one you use most in battle. You get seven heart stones to spend during the evening, any heart stones you don't spend are yours to keep. Being a jerk will end the date pretty quickly but it might be fun to see what you can get away with if you saved before the date. You can permanently lose your girl if you screw this up but you can also get through the date without spending any heart stones if you're the perfect gentleman. When prompted, choose the following: ( "Isn't any seating available?", "Ask to get the manager.", "p", "Thanks, but that's all right..", "I'll go get something.", when choosing the booze the most expensive one gives the best result, "Excuse self from table for second" ( If you were being a jerk earlier this will end the date ). Talk to Exmus before he leaves and he'll give you a drop stone. You can talk to the violinist and ask to play a song, you'll need to tip him a heart stone. Talk to Celestria and you'll be able to do a new sidequest. Talk to Marasha and ask her what happened. Now either talk to the manager and ask her to replace the meal ( costs one heart stone ) or flirt with the waitress to get her to replace the meal. The manager is the better option, she'll walk in and out of the door to the right periodically. Go back to the table and sit down. Giving the waitress a bigger tip gives a better result. At the end of the date the your date's stats will increase depending on how well you did, if you did really bad she'll leave the party instead.

The House: ( You need to be arena champion for this )

This sidequest takes a serious investment but you can get a lot more out of it. You can either make your girl happy or get a lot of heart stones.
After the tomb and arena sidequests you can go to the large house east of the house of pnoe to talk to the woman about buying the house. Refuse the first time for some laughs, you'll need to give three heart stones for the house. Go to the house east of the gap in the lower city and examine the moxi box on the table for a short commercial. You can also talk to the woman to get a cat. Now you'll need to find Fwacho's which is northwest of Alan's mansion. Talk to the man with the grey hair, then head to the charlatans of justice. There's a chest with a blan rock inside the house. Approach the charlatans and then find Gramy at the house marked on your map. Stay polite and answer the questions correctly. ( Okay, small sip, charlatans of justice, jeramyu ) now go back to the charlatans and you'll get some vouchers and a new mission.
Go to the place marked on your map and talk to exiled. Talk to exiled again, then enter the shack. Examine the broken glass, then step behind the cupboard to find a broom. The combination for the chest is 24, close the chest when you're done. Walk to the door, then hide behind the pillar on the right. when the water is running it's safe to step on the creaky floorboards, leave and head back to the charlatans to get your vouchers and a new mission.
Teleport to the outer city and find the marked shanty. Examine some of the barrels in here, then enter the door on the bottom right and walk towards the man, now prepare for a little minigame.

You'll want to hurt him as little as possible, the general order to get the best result is question, threaten, hurt, sympathise. Questions: "Two weeks ago", "Nymph and Geraia", "you know Melbis well, dont you?". Don't kill him after the interrogation. If you manage to get him to talk without using excessive force he'll give you a key to the chests in his room. Inside are two heart stones and a blan rock, and there's a heart stone below the bookshelf. Notice how there's a locked door in ths room? Want to see what's behind it? To open the door do the following in the exact order listed. Step 1: Get in the bed (just walk right into the upper squares). Step 2: Examine the sink. Step 3: Examine the dresser below the bed (either half works). Step 3: Examine the mirror. Step 5: Examine the bookshelf (either half works). The door should open. ( Thanks EmperorJeramyu for solving this little puzzle for me. ) Behind the door you will find a red chest with a piece of stricite, the other chests hold a heart stone, pocite, focite, blan rock, wicite and another heart stone.
Now go to the indicated place and give the bouncer the password. Talk to the bouncer, then talk to the redhaired girl, then talk to the man in the red coat at the bar, go back to the girl, then talk to the man again. There's a heart stone next to the swords behind the tables opposite the bar so grab that, now step up to the bar and talk to the bartender, tip her a heart stone. Talk to the bouncer blocking of the private area. Prepare for a fight and talk to the guards. After the fight examine the corpse and open the chests for a cross stone and a lunge stone. Go back to the charlatans and they'll give you a moxi box and some more vouchers.
Go back to Fwacho's and spend your vouchers, you should have 19. You can exchange them for heart stones or use them to buy furniture, I personally would take the furniture.
Now go to the concert hall, the front doors are closed so you'll have to go through Alan's mansion. In the backstage room with the save point is a clock, examine it to move it to your house.
go to the house of pnoe and return to the house and you'll see you now have flowers, with a note from your friend at pnoe's.
Go to Celestria's boutique, talk to tomb girl and humor her, now go into the room to the left and talk to Rosa, tell her "Yes!". Talk to Celestria, then talk to her again and say you're ready.

Follow Celestria and talk to her again. ( Notice the intro to the play playing, it almost seems like foreshadowing... ) To the left of the doorway leading down is a key, pick it up. Exit the building and go to the concert hall.
Enter the building and take either door up, then go up the stairs. Go through tle large doorway in the middle, to the right is a piece of stricite laying on the ground. Go back to the previous room and go through the doorway on the left, then go up the stairs and take the lower exit out of the room. You'll be outside, there is a door going down where the lower tower is, go through that one. Continue down the ladder, open the door to the left, then go back and jump the gap to the right. Keep going and you'll reach a spike room. Better get used to seeing these, because you'll be seeing a lot more of them and this is still the easy part. Make your way to the right to find a chest with a piece of stricite. Maye your way to the bottom and you'll reach a very familiar basement. Go to the top right corner of the room, walk to the left and flip the lever to be done with this madness. Go through the door and you'll find an even worse challenge. When you reach the next room, step on the conspicuous wooden floorboards to commence with the "fun". The levers need to be flipped in the following order: down, left, right, up.
After this little nightmare of a minigame you'll see two chests, there is a blan rock in each of them. Continuing onward, you kan find the key for the next room among the papers on the bottom left. Go back to the where you entered the room, to the right of the leftmost torch is a hidden door which you'll need the key to open. In the next room you can find one chest with a lyn rock and another with a soul stone. Just above the table to the left you can find your suit, examine the left side of the painting to find another key. Go back to the previous room find the chair laying among all the documents. Pick up the chair and the door at the top of the room will open, so go through the doorway. Now if you want a painting for your house you're going to have to find the missing piece of the middle painting. You may have noticed that that blonde girl has a painting in her house, go to her house to inspect the painting. ( Go through Celestria's, it's much faster. ) Go back to the phantom and he'll restore the painting. The leftmost painting is now a teleporter to someone's house and the rightmost painting leads to a room with a lot of chests containing a drop stone, a lunge stone, two pieces of stricite, four heart stones, a soul stone and two blan rocks. You can talk to the phantom about taking the painting, but it will cost you 30 max hp and if you refuse you won't get a second chance. This should be the last item for your house if you've been collecting them. Go back to the house and your girl will get a massive stat boost.

Marasha's House:

Go to Marasha's house, use the doorway at the top to change into your suit, then talk to the man to be let in. Go downstairs to the basement and open the door, then go upstairs and into the bedroom to find a chest with a heart stone. Stand between the bed and the closet and inspect the closet, you'll receive a key. Now open the closet door, there will be one or two items on the wall in the closet, you can only pick up one of them. Each item will give a relationship bonus to a different girl, they will only appear if your relationship with that girl is good enough.

M2O:

Make your way to the right tower of the concert hall after you've found the key. Open the door in the right tower and keep moving forward, you'll eventually reach a room with two chests containing a blan rock. Congratulations, you have just found the most depressing room in the game. Talk to the man if you really want to, then stand in front of the middle window for a while facing up, if you want to know what he saw. Talk to the boy on the left when his eyes are open, then check the other side of the bed and you'll get +1 XL retention.

The Shadow Plungers: ( You need to be arena champion for this, required for an alternate ending )

Talk to the cloaked woman in the house of pnoe and she'll splash some aura all over your map showing you the locations of these... things. They're all gimmick battles so be prepared to change strategies a lot. The first one is in the red spot on the map, behind the third building to the right of the gap in the outer city ( just below the wall ). This one has a pathetic plunge but a devastating critical so use dust spray to keep him down. Ender will work quite nicely as it's based primarily on the enemy plunge stat. If you win you get the blindside blade art and +10 max hp.

The next one is in the purple spot so go north to the very edge of the city, the entrance to the plunge area is on the right side of the small house. There is a chest with a blan rock in the plunge room. This one will heal herself like no tomorrow, so try to injure her instead. Crippler and any hard hitting blade art you might have will be useful. Make sure to use ender as it can save you a lot of time. If you win you'll get the crestfallen blade art and +10 max hp.

The last one is in the yellow spot, you'll need to go to the building directly south of the left side of the large pit, you can jump a gap to the left of the building and enter from that side. This

one has much higher stats than the last one ( except hit points ) and she has a lot of powerful blade arts. She has a tendency to spam snapper so I suggest plugging her slots, other than that just hope for the best. If you win you get the snapper blade art and +10 max hp.

The Champion: ( You need to be arena champion for this )

When you're feeling up to it you can go to the square on the north side of the city ( where the execution scene took place ) and enter the doorway on the north side of the square using the champion key, save your game because the next plunge battle is the toughest one in the whole game. I suggest you avoid risk attacks and link attacks as the AI appears to cheat a lot more if you do and this guy can instakill you with a single winning pass, he's got crestfallen, ender, blindside, ravage and backlash, if he rolls any one of these on a risk attack you're basically dead. To make things worse his dt is high enough that even ender won't finish him if it succeeds so you'll have to fight him to the last freakin' hit point while he could kill you on any pass. Have fun. If you go forward with the plot first and do this fight later he'll be much more manageable, but he's still a tough opponent. If you win this one you get a new finisher, and there will be two chests waiting for you with the supreme blade for Midian and (3)alpha omega for Sacrifa.

There is a secret room in the house of pnoe on the wall with the paintings, inside you'll find the twilight blade for Midian and the oneness-elemental-transcendent field for Sacrifa. The door appears only if you finished the attair manor, forest, arena, freefall, scene and champion sidequests. ( Thanks EmperorJeramyu for your quick response. )

And now to continue with the plot.

Reflective Sky:

Go to the house of pnoe and find and activate the portal. To the far right is a chest with a piece of wicite in it. Going up and right you'll see another chest with a wicite. Go to the top left of this area and go down and you'll find a stricite. Now go up, then right and step into the teleporter. Continue onward and you'll find a chest with a heart stone to the left, going down you can find a lell rock. Go to the right and use the teleporter. Go right and you'll find a lyn rock and a heart stone. Continue up, then right, then go down to find a wicite and a pocite. Now go back to the start of this area, this time go left. Jump into the hole and you'll find the green key and a piece of pocite. Open the door, then go back to the area you just came from via the teleporter. This time, go up, right, down, then right and down again and open the door. Dop down the hole and continue up, you'll find another chest with a heart stone and another hole to jump into. In the next area you'll find the red key, if you've been paying attention you'll notice we're now back in the first area. use the teleporter to go to the next area and then go down and open the door. Jump in the hore and you'll find the grey key and a piece of wicite. Open the door and go back to the second area once again. Now open the last door and drop down the hole, then go right.

The Pits:

Go to the lost city, make your way to to the top of the large area and enter the building in the middle. Go down the stairs and go down and exit the room. Now go down to the bottom of this area and then go left, you'll find a chest which contains either a nova stone or a blan rock, depending on the number of nova stones you've found. Now go back up and go right to find another door leading to an elevator. flip the switch and exit the room. In the next area, go left, then up and you'll find a chest with two pieces of wicite and another chest with two heart stones inside. Go back down, then left and you'll find two pieces of focite. Going down even further you'll find a piece of stricite to your left and two chests with a blan rock at the very bottom of the area.
Now for the puzzle in this area, you need to point the minecart in the right direction by flipping the levers as it's moving along the track, for the first set, flip them in the order left, right, left, then jump across the gap and flip the next two levers, then flip the next set of levers in the order left, right, left, left, right, left. then hurry to the right and flip the last lever. Hop in the cart and you'll get +5 focus, will and poise. The enemies in the next area give a lot of AR so equip your AR catalyst so you can level up those auras. In the top left corner of the central area is a chest with a lyn rock in it, directly above it is a chest with a drop stone. Starting from the first station you pass, you'll need to go up at the first switch, go straight at the second, then left, keep going left, then down and finally right.
Now as you passed through the previous area you probably noticed all those nice chests, we're going to be opening those so go back to the previous room and find those chests. Starting with two pieces of wicite next to the track. The other chests can't be accessed from this side so go back to where the minecart stopped and keep moving. The first chest you'll come across has two pieces of pocite. Continue going up and left and you'll find a cross stone. Go back and cross the bridge, then go down and enter the next room where you will find a stricite and two heart stones. Go back and go up past the bridge and you'll find a lunge stone. The next part is pretty straightforward, enter the next room and keep going until you reach the bottom of the stairs. Walk a little further and you'll be able to jump up to another platform, where you can find two heart stones and a lell rock. Go back to the main path and keep going. When you reach the end of the second set of stairs go down and you'll find a soul stone. Continue up and right and you'll find two heart stones. Go down the stairs and go left, you'll see a chest which contains a kritar shell. In the next room you'll be able to choose an alternate ending if you defeated the shadow plungers. To get the alternate ending take the middle exit leading up and keep moving forward, you can't miss it.
Now for the normal path, just take the leftmost exit leading up and watch.

The Kingdom:

Activate the portal and continue north, there is nothing interesting at all around here.

The Tower:

Use the teleporter and climb the tower. Follow the path, there are no items here. You'll have to fith two bosses, the first is a regular battle, the second is a plunge battle.

The Final Battle
This guy gets stat bonuses based on Rhue's evilness. ( That is, if Rhue's relationship value with himself is negative the boss gets stat bonuses, if it is positive he'll get a stat reduction instead. ) He should be fairly easy to beat even if you skipped the sidequests, if you get your hp reduced to zero in this battle you will keep going but you get an alternate ending.

Hit Points: 250 + 10 * evilness
Plunge: 18 + evilness / 2
Damage Threshold: 75 + evilness * 3/2

Critical Hit: 15
Critical Strength: 3

Cross Sweep Link: 10% Slot 3 (Double Plug)
Lunge Cut Link: 35% Slot 4 (Ender)
Drop Slash Link: 5% Slot 5 (Snapper)

Slots:
1: Jagged Edge
2: Pin Point
3: Double Plug
4: Ender
5: Snapper
6: Snapper
7: Lanner
8: Backlash

Finisher #5

After the boss fights you'll be allowed to choose another alternate ending if you've unlocked it.
