My old save doesnt't work...

Copied my old save from ep.5 and tried to load it. All I get is a black screen...
Anyone know what's causing this?

Hmm.. Seems I solved it. The "END EPISODE 6" switch was ON for some reason...

I'm glad for you, but that does not help me at all.
I have no experience in editting variables in RPG Maker.
If you could please give instruction, I would be much obliged.

Do you have Rpgmaker 2000? If so, open the game and start it in Test Play and load your save. Then press F9 and a menu with all the switches should pop up. Press right until you reach S[0701-0710] (and so on) press down once and then enter. Maneuver to the END EPISODE 6 switch (which should be ON) and toggle it OFF by pressing Enter.

Still doesn't work.

Try changing the switch on page 3 of the event in the middle of the top map to 2220:END OF EPISODE 6? :/ That was what I did, I just assumed the END EPISODE 6 switch was on since the event never started..
