Noooovaa stone! Where are you!?!?

Anyways, so I've been playing through EP. 6 of the Way, it's been great fun and I've been trying to get all the various notch items and so forth that I can get. Apparently, you can get a nova stone either from Lexus' tomb (I'm assuming the blue box) or from the Lost City, after you go into the Mining building but before you go into the actual pits with the mine cart and junk.
Unfortunately... I've gotten both of the chests where the Nova stone is said to be, but neither gave me one. After I looted Lexus' tomb and didn't get one, I figured, "Hey... It's okay, there's one later." But when I opened the chest in the Lost City, all I got was a lousy BLAN ROCK!
...any advice, or people who have suffered the same situation?

Hmm... Edit it into the game to get the nova stone wherever you are right now?

How many notches do you have right now? Because the trigger that changes it from a Nova stone to a blan rock is already having 4 notches.

There is definately a bug with that. I've had the same problem. I'll forward this to the bugs forum.

i had the same problem and after reading the code i just figured lun didnt want us to get 4 notch slots.

I also never got the Nova stone in EP6 although I supposedly did the right thing to get one.
Could be a bug, or perhaps, last minute change by Lun to increase difficulty?

The Nova Stone bug was one of the few reasons that I hacked my game ahead of schedule.

Thats pretty weird because I didn't have any problems getting a 4th slot.

Yeah me neither. I got the 4th one in E5 somewhere. However, I downloaded
a old version so Lun could've fixed it in a current version.

ummm....
Will I lose my save if I install the update? (Saved just before getting Lexus' stone (or trying to get, anyway))
If so, could someone tell me how to edit and get the stone, because I have *No* idea how to do it. I can't even find a way to open the Way in RPG maker.
As a side note: The first time I played ep. 6, without the Walkthrough, I got the Lexus stone without a problem. This time, following the Walkthrough, it didn't appear.
