accually if who your playing isnt a complete fucktard carriers alone are quite easily blown to fuck.
Main points to remember:
NEVER let the units attack carriers on there own.
Always mix air and ground
NEVER waste that much time and money on carriers

Carrier is a good end game unit. That's about it.
If a good Terran player can catch you at it he can tech BC and well... Y. Gun. "SHIFT key", Micro them in sets of two (two Y. Gun kill 1 Carrier)... nuff said.

The best guy in the starcraft is a korean, and EVERYBODY in korea knows him. He is even paid to be a main char in commercials. yeah... wouldnt that be wonderful if you are him? play game you love so much and be so famous and learn lots of money. thats my kind of paradox.

Well, right now the top KESPA rating belongs to a Korean Zerg player. However, the KESPA chart is still comprised mainly of terran users. Toss still generally gets the low teir ratings. It's rather ironic, they are the easiest to pickup but they are by far the hardests to master. I myself was among a semi-high teir of non-korean players for quite some time, being on Team USAb for a season. I've played the game out to the most I could, but I suppose after seven years pretty much anything loses its edge.

Warcraft 3 is better in some ways, but Starcraft is awesome too. those two are my two favorite strategy games. Blizzard's really figuired out strategy games, although I don't really think WoW is that great. I mean, it's the best thing out there currently, but that isn't saying much (thinks about runescape), and Auto Assault is probably going to blow it into the dust when it comes out.

Positives for AA:
-Good graphics.
-Intense action gameplay
(I don't know much else, I'll have to look further into it)
Negatives for AA:
-This isn't an RPG. It will definitely not "blow it into dust" because tons of MMO players like the RPGs
-No infrantry: Sure, you get the vehicles and can mount a rocket launcher on THAT, but I want a rocket launcher in my HANDS. And, and you say that you'll get owned by the enemy vehicles? That's why YOU have vehicles backing you up.

So, yeah. IN YOUR FACE WoW WTFPWNS YOUR ASS!!!

Actually it is an RPG, if you read all of the interviews you'll see that there are actually RPG rules running in the backround controlling things; even though you can only hit stuff thats in your tac arcs wether you hit it at all is based on stats, how good the weapons you can use are based on stats, and abillities are gotten by leveling up. The abillities are more or less important based on how you build you charicter. Your health and defense are based on stats. Soooo... it's no Planetscape . As for the on foot deal, if that was allowed they would have to change the plot, and it would become the main focus of the game, and that would just defeat the whole purpose of it, wouldn't it?

Oh, by pound it into the dust I didn't mean sales wise just fun wise.
