Because it was entertaining to finally see one of my favorite game characters on TV, and to every day hear Meta Knight say "Kirby has transformed! He is now...Fire Kirby!/Ice Kirby!/ Rock Kirby!" Every episode, the name of his ability was just the ability plus his name.

Sword Kirby kicks ass though.

The anime is hardly canon, at least as far as the games go. Nothing like that was ever even hinted to in the games (besides Meta Knight being of possibly the same race as Kirby).

I remember the really really old ones where getting a single ring put sonic on fuckin crack. He totally went nuts. And then the grandpa turned into a multiple personality robot whose robo heart was torn between man and machine reactions :cry:

Though they are the names of Kirby. At the end of the Kirby game Meta Knights revenge I think it list Kirby's forms and most are just ability then Kirby.

btw swordsmen Kirby does rock even though it is based off of Link.

And it actually makes sense in the SSB games, when Kirby becomes Link Kirby who looks exactly like Sword Kirby. Although then he gets those shitty arrows (or less shitty boomering in the original) instead of a kickass sword.

Also in the old games when Swordmen Kirby had full health he could use sword beam. Well in the old LoZ games when Link got the master sword he did the same thing.

By "old LoZ games" you mean EVERY SINGLE ONE EXCEPT THREE, INCLUDING ONE RELEASED THIS YEAR, right? And only a single one of those was with the Master Sword.
