I'm just wondering here, does anybody even play runescape anymore?
I used to...
I might have to play it while waiting for The Way 6.

I played it a while ago. Then I realized that I hated Runescape.

Oh well. You get what you pay for.

Runescape is fun until it sucks, which is about fifteen seconds in. And that's being liberal.

Pretty much, yep. Or until you're really into it, and then you die and lose all your stuff.

Hahaha... I can relate.. dying and losing all your stuff.
That sucks big time - but the key is, (like all rpgs) is not to die.
Are there any other MMORPGs (free/not free) that are available?

Guild Wars is the big thing now. I've never tried it, but lots of people say its good.

...One buys it? I think playing online and such is free, though, and it's probably worth getting it to escape the shittiness of Runescape.

It was fun for about a day, then i relized would have to spend te next few months doing nothing but training before I could actually do anything, and i decided it wasn't worth it.

The banners were misleading. I thought there was a good chance that the game didn't look like crap, but I was so very wrong.
