I just got this game about two weeks ago and I have been playing it none stop. Its a new kind of MMORPG unlike that of WoW, Linage II, and FF11. It is more based on the persons skill then there grid. You got to know how to attack, when to attack, and who to attack first. It has 6 class and each character may have 2. There are tons of skills that you get from doing quests and missions rather then leveling or having to buy scrolls. It has great team play and guild interface built in, but with a name like Guild Wars no shit it would. It also has a stunning and huge world that seems endless with huge missions that can be fun.
I give Guild Wars a flawless victory with a 10/10
A game that people who hate MMORPGs with love and those who love them.

I assume that he was trying to say people who hate MMORPGs will love Guildwars, and people who love MMORPGs will hate Guildwars. But then it's War so who really knows. He could have been talking about toenails.

It sounds like this Pcgamer quote:
Pcgamer wrote:"The first great online action/RPG - for everyone who hates MMORPGs, and for those who love them, too."

Maybe he's a Pcgamer in disguise. Or maybe he read the review and he remembered it. OR MAYBE he just copied it

I love MMORPGs, I don't like Guild Wars at much at first sight.
The many skills it offers and the focus on how you play instead of which level you are intrigues me though. Still, I'll stick with WoW

Sorry for pulling a Forerunner on all you guys, but I'm considdering buying this game, and there technically isn't a rule against bumping.
A question: Does this game really rely more on how you play than how much you play?
Secondly, but much less signifigantly, I'm more interested in PvP, and the Faction vs Faction in Factions sounds pretty sweet. However, I heard somewhere that Factions is going to focus on the PvE. Should I get the original or the new chapter? (This may be longer, but the other one is WAAYY more important.)

Seeing how the new chapter isnt out yet, and I thought it was just an expansion pack, you should go with the original

That question involves thinking though...
Well, obviously the longer you play the better your character will become, but I've never been in a position were i thought I needed to train. Which is just about impossible, 90% of xp comes from quests, you would bearly get anything from training. So, yeah, it does rely more on how you play than how much you play.
