Same!!! FFVII was the RPG that brought me into the genre! 5 years ago, during grade 9....wow...it seems like yesterday

FF7...forums... It all brings me back to the good ol' days.
Random Guy: Yeah, so if you treat her real nice... then, you have to collect... oh don't do that you'll just have to fight sephiroth again... get Zach's new sword... fight 999 random battles... finally, go to where she died and you'll revive her. Tomorrow I'll tell you how to resurrect Rufus and Zach and play as Sephiroth.
Me: !@#^&(mindless flamming of said random guy)

I'm ashamed because I actually tried to do a few of the wild goose chases at first... I don't know how many times I threw my controller because I was doing the damn roller coaster over and over(trying to get super sweepers because I was an idiot, mind you). Sometimes I still visit Citadel to see what the latest rumors are(by now they're almost all proven wrong.) Out of about 500 rumors, only two worked.

Edit: I'm trying to keep my hopes high on Dirge of Cerberus. Disappointment with that game would lead to me being utterly devastated. I'm kind of skeptical about Crisis Core, and I almost know for a fact that Before Crisis is going to suck. I could go on for hours about Advent Children, but I've decided to spare all of you.

Do you remember what rumors worked?
...Did anybody get stuck in that final cave where you had to climb up the rocks (where the party splits...I think) ? I did, and although I could go on to finish the game I couldn't get out of the cave! So I just played it through again :)
I think it was a glitch of some sort, I could never climb back up...but only in that particular save file...Hmmm...

I don't think you're supposed to be able to leave after you enter the last area.

I can't quite remember which they were... one has to do w/ Emerald Weapon... you should check Citadel(I went on yesterday. To my surprise, I found out that they still update that place.) Now they're mostly talking about AC. You should check out their secrets some are actually pretty good.

It IS possible to leave Northern Cave, actually.
Hah. I remember taking down Safer Seph with Cloud, because all he had on him was one cover materia and then fifteen counter attack materia.

Why fifteen!? It's silly, two mastered Counters would work unless countering with a command like Quadra-Cut in which case you'd use the Blue Counter Materia.

By the way, I rule at FFVII to the extent that it's stupid.

I think the only reason Impossible doesn't like FF7 is because most the people that do like FF7 are the same people that he dislikes.

I've never even played FF7, I've looked for it before, but can't find it.
