I do believe there is a new French TMMORPG released, well currently in Beta which is quite fun called Dofus.

I've played it a bit, it's really not that large (around 30MB) and is quite amusing for a while. Some aspects are pretty boring and the graphics aren't all that brilliant but they're not ugly or anything.
