Yo-Yo?

Postby ForbiddenShadow » Sun Oct 02, 2005 4:56 pm

I waz watching TV the other day and there was something about some loser in a Yo-Yo competition; he thought he was everything. I was siting there going uh-hu, this blows; then he said "ya, something some people don't know is that yo-yo's a harder sport then it looks like" That made me angry. Now i was wondering if Yo-Yo really is a sport? and maby some ideas on what makes a sport.

STABing is completely overrated and I am overly sick of it.

I think that Yo-Yo isn't a sport, just an overrated childs toy that people used because they suck at everything else and the flashing lights are pretty.

A Sport is defined as: Something dull, boring and repetitive, often involving a ball.

So Yo-Yo-ing might fit the bill, although a Yo-Yo isn't a ball.

Hold on... Final Fantasy X is a sport?!

don't forget about the yo-yo ball; and sports are boring to watch - except hocky - but are always fun to play - especially hocky.

lots of people like sports... the real definition is an individual or group competitive activity involving physical exertion or skill, governed by rules, and sometimes engaged in professionally. so yo yo is a sport. i dont like yo yo because i swung it too hard (LOL) and hit my friend in the head.

If yo-yo is a sport, then so is slinky.

Actually, that would be kind of cool. People racing slinkies down the stairs to see which one gets to the bottom first, as a nationally televised event. And there would be a National Slinky Champion, who thinks he's really cool but just gives everyone else something to laugh at. And he'd like, do sneaker commercials, even though sneakers are unrelated to slinkies. Or maybe he'd do stair commercials. "Hi, I'm Gregory Bodelbob and I use Coffman Stairs for all my slinky-racing purposes." Nobody respects you, Gregory.

No, he is not shitting you.
I also agree that FFX is dull, boring and repetitive, often involving a ball.

But the only ball in FFX is Blitzball which is INCREDIBLY boring.
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

It's better than running around on multicoloured chickens or playing boring card games.

Lets not forget all those people out there who now think Poker is a sport.
