For anyone who cares it sounds like it'll be pretty good. The game's creators are looking for a Suikoden 1 or 2 feel which is a plus too.

If they fuck up on this one, I probably won't be buying any others. I still haven't bothered to pick up Suikoden Tactics.

I hated and still do hate 4 with a passion. I like the other 3 though but S2 was by far my favorite.

I don't necessarily hate IV, since it was my first, and I couldn't compare it to the others when I first played it. It was just boring to play after a while. The only reason I played to the end was because I liked the story. Lazlo's (Hero4's novelization name, apparently) walks still annoys the hell out of me...Although I'm still planning to get Tactics and III with my Christmas money. (III is hard to find now...XP)

I've recently played part of the first and second games and I found them pretty good. If Suikoden V has a similar battle system, then I'd definately pick it up.
