Wouldn't the perfect game have to mix every single game genre in existance?

I'd like to see an FPS an RPG a Sport and a Racing genre all mixed into one (not all genres but my favorite :D), of course making a game with all genres is impossible.

But anime on the other hand. If you mix all genres carefully and put a lot of effort into it....IT WILL BECOME PURE GOLD!!!

You know what series i'm talking about.

Games for graphing calculators kick so much ass. What better way to get through study hall? Somebody I knew had "Doom" on their TI-83 . . . obviously it sucked.

Okay, seriously, would you play an action game that required you to play 20 casino games, then solve block puzzles for half an hour, then go back to the plot? All genre's would never work because you wouldn't have any reason to add strategy, puzzle, racing, fighting, rpg-ing, AND side-scrolling all into one game. And if you did, it would suck. Seriously, you know they'd get lazy on at least five aspects of the game.

Not to mention, at some point we'd have to play the dreaded educational genre.

I wouldn't play an action game in the first place.
RPG is the only genre that is worth my time, maybe some multiplayer FPS, and on the very rare occasion Racing and sport.

Oh I do play one (and only one) action game, and that is Metal Gear Solid.
Brilliant, just brilliant.

But in all reality, the best game ever would have to be a 2-player co-op sidescrolling platformer RPG with a beautiful array of spells that are casted with 3D effects, a decent amount of weapons that all do different moves (like 8-10 weapon types), a plot as good as Golden Sun, a quick-thinking feel like Kirby's Super Star, and about 45 gorgeous levels that are long, each containing about 3 save points counting the boss saves every few levels, and have a certain amount of health and mana monster-dropped potions depending on your set difficulty level, which can be Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, or Insane.

Ahh, the perfect game.

Don't forget to add to it, the game has to be uber long like Tales of Symphonia.

I think Baten Kaitos was longer. Certainly felt longer with all those evil bosses that took weeks to beat.

There was a great Ctrl Alt Del story on this sort of thing...I'd personally love to link to it, but the search function is fuxxored upzor, so I'll leave it to somebody more loyal to the comic to show them...

...There's too many comics about their game... I'll just link to this one, and if you guys wanna hear more about their endevour to make a game that encompassed all gamestyles then you can go to the website and read them yourself.
... *5 minutes later*...
Ok i'm lazy and I can't find the ones where they make the game, but you guys should check it out anyway, Ctrl-Alt-Del Rocks.

P.S. Have you seen the latest ones about Zeke and xbox360, funny as hell. "Backwards compatible, my robot ass!"

Yeah, I saw a friend of mine checking out the site to see if there was an update and It was the part where Ethan lies to zeke about the 360 and says that they were about to force them to play it. Oh god, did I laugh when I saw the red eyes and then the meaning behind them...
