How to open in RPGMaker

First of all, I feel really stupid for asking this, but how exactly do I open any of the Way episodes in RPGmaker? I've seen it mentioned on this board, but I haven't been able to do it.

I guess this should go in the 'help' forum, but this really applies to any games made with RPGmaker, it's just that I'm trying to learn with this series.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Open up RM2K. Set the default project path as the folder before the Way folders. Then click on the Way game you want to open, and click Open, or just double click on the Way game that you want to open.

The folder before the Way folders? Dammit. I was trying to select the individual folder. Good God, I'm stupid.

Dont worry about it. The first time I used RM2K I had trouble figuring that out too.

Of course, I am a genius, so it wasn't too hard to figure out.

Don't beat yourself up man. There's a first time for everything, so everyone has to start somewhere.

It's just that people like me, Strayed, Porter, Tele, Fitz, Jera, Verb, and Lun all started at a much more complex part than yours.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Only 200 posts until you have to raise the post amount and exclude me!

Or we could just make an exeption excluding oversized poultry.

Or I could go into detail about how much experience with the RPG makers I've had, including the various games, translation processes, battle systems, and complex event setups I've done over the years. Or how many hours I spent on Beta testing episode six over and over and over and over again to find any glitches (my personal favorite was going off-road on a mine-cart) and then try and find any cause for it. But I don't think I need to.

What does that have to do with you being a demi-god?

Because you beta tested the game?

Is that what makes you smarter than this guy who started the topic?

1500 posts to be a demi-god, eh? Damn. Well I guess that makes me some shitty succubus. Though I'd like to think I'm a bit higher than an altar boy - I'd hate to get touched by some of the folks around here...
