DK64

So I've commandeered a Nintendo 64 system and have 5 games. One of them is madden, so I really only have 4 seeing as how madden is one of those 'games' that fails at life year after year. One of the is the original super smash brothers game, I've got another copy at home as well, but hey, nothing but love for SSB. The other is Donkey Kong 64. I can't be made to remember the other ones simply because they did not merit playing and/or remembering. In the third world, theres a toy factory/machine theme to it. One of the rooms has a retro Donkey kong game, complete with shitty graphics. I gotta beat that crap to get the "nintendo coin" which will eventually allow me to see the final goddamn ending. Is it worth it?

With Donkey Kong 64 there were too many small little things I ended up missing. Such as that very coin. So I never finished it. I also think I'd gotten into something else by the end of it.

A game definately worth playing on N64 is Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness.
That's the only one in the series I've played, but it seems like the only good one.

Isn't that the first-person one? Which is considered out of all Castlevania the worst?

If i remember correctly the coin is required to beat the game. That, some battle crowns, a coin form the space arcade game, and a bunch of bannana medals are all needed i think. They all open the final door in the final level or somthing.

Well I just qualified for the space arcade. That sucked major nuts, by the way. I'm seriously doubting my ability to play this game for more than half an hour because I don't tolerate such shitty gameplay. I got to like...halfway on the required score then gave the fuck up.

The Space game was the only thing in the game that I really hated, other than that the game was fun.

madden, mario party 2, and nba courtside....

I need better games. I'ma check out the local areas, like pawn shops and stuff. Those are often little gold mines for the retro games.

Also, I might bring up some better games this winter, we'll see.

I loved Mario Party 2. It was like Mario Party 1 but with less blisters.

Paper Mario and Ogre Battle 64 FTW

If you happen to see a copy of Mischief Makers around, pick that up. You won't regret it.
