Jumping in from no apparent place without properly reading the above posts I'd like to say the following:

Everybody is different, some regularly vent agression in small amounts, others keep it bottled up and go explody anger anmd maybe even kill someone, I'm the latter.

Violent videogames are double edged, they can make some people more violent but they can also give a good, relatively safe source of venting for others.

Tele, you should blow off steam every once in a while. I'd hate to hear you went explody anger and killed someone.
Anyways, Angel_OA has a good point, violent people are obviously going to prefer violent video games, so it really does prove nothing.

I think a lack of sex makes people more violent, and we see how that factors in with video game playtime.

That being said, they did make some maps for Doom 2. I have played them.

Oh I don't think I'd actually kill someone, I'm physically weak, see?
So I'd probably just really really hurt someone, or if I was generaly spiteful, torture them.
I guess I would kill somoene if I had sharp objects around me at the time.
