I finally got GH2 and started playing it about 2 months ago, needless to say I finished Easy easily, and Medium wasn't that much harder I think I did them both before the week was done, but then I got to Hard.

And unlike most other games I've played, then they called it Hard, they wern't fucking around. Maybe I'm just not naturally talented at this kind of game, but it honestly took me about 6 hours of play to beat Woman counting all the times I tried to beat it, a few sessions in practice, and trying other songs in quickplay to up my skill.

The same thing happened when I got up to Carry Me Home, Laid To Rest, Psychobilly Freakout and whatever the encore song was (I love Madhouse, had no trouble :D), although after trying to do them all for about 4 hours straight I beat Carry Me Home, and then finished all the others first try.

So now I'm up to the last 5 songs in hard... Freebird looming in the distance intimidates me, and starting in Expert even moreso.

The only song I've managed to finish in 5 stars is Strutter which I got first try, it's just a really easy song. I've gone back and done a few of the easier ones and barely get 4 stars.

I heard 80's and the first one are much harder, but I havn't tried them yet. Can't wait for the 3rd one, I think it'd be awesome if they could get Otherworld (FFX) into the bonus tracks.
I also think the Halo 2 Mjolnir Theme Mix would actually be pretty good because the guitar in that is decent, but that may just be the fanboy speaking.

I've checked it out on wikipedia, and the most notable thing I saw (other than having Through the Fire and the Flames) was that Dimebag will be one of the bosses. That's fucking 1337.

Heh, same with me, Women on hard is ten times harder then any other song on that tier and the alot of the higher tiers as well. I only get to play the game every once and awhile at one of my friends house, so over the last year or so I've made it up to Psychobilly Freakout on hard.

I hate to break it to you, but hes not in it. The three bosses in the game are Slash, Tom Morello, and some "fictional guitarist" yet to be announced.

Yeah, he's on the cover too:

And when you beat him you unlock him as a character.
They've also got both guitarists writing a new song for the game, which is pretty cool.

They had to ruin it by putting in The Killers and Kaiser Chiefs...

Just to point out, the list is missing Sabotage, Suck My Kiss, Reptilia, Cities on Flame with Rock and Roll, Helicopter, and Monsters, fron the co-op career.

I'm fine with the Kaiser Chiefs, but how The Killers and AFI got in really baffle me.
