A few friends of mine went to Japan last week and one of them really got shit from everyone in the group for playing a game about being a lawyer. The pitch does sound...iffy, to say the least, I admit. As soon as they met with some locals though, eheh, it was a different story. They praised the game and were pissed at my friends for judging the game with no real experience. Then they proceeded to translate a scene of of one of the games (assumed to be TaT, reports claim it was "maybe number three?") The outcome?
There is "some guy" who will be "wrongly accused" of doing "something bad". You can imagine my response:
"Really now...Who'd have guessed? Well...That was worth the months of planning and mountain of cash. Good job."
Needless to say, I'm told they're all screaming "OBJECTION" and "HOLD IT" and "TAKE THAT!!" in regular conversations now. I tried that once, in my family's isolated home of Montana, my current residence (albeit against my will). Results were less than satisfactory.
