Got a Sega Genesis

Postby CJ » Thu Nov 15, 2007 6:27 am

yeah so after two weeks of shipping, my US Sega Genesis finally arrived (don't ask me why i didn't just get a PAL megadrive. we all know how they handled PAL back in those days).

So I was just wondering what games i should get for it.

these are the games i currently have/are currently being shipped:

Micky Mouse: World of Illusion (i loved it as a kid so I bought it)
Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat II
Mortal Kombat 3: Ultimate
Revenge of Shinobi
Road Rash 3
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Streets of Rage
Wonderboy in Monster World

Any other games that you think i should get?
oh yeah by the way. Doovy & Co. are not gone. After all... I am Doovy and Forunner is still here.

Road Rash?

Gunstar Heroes is a must.

Shining Force. Both of them.

Star Control.
Shop smart, shop S-Mart.

Is it worth getting a 32X or a MegaCD?

What?

Star Control (the original) was for the original Genesis. No bizarre addons needed.

I mean are there any games released on the 32X or megaCD that make them worth buying?

Depends on whether you consider any of the N64DD games worth buying. I think Doom was for 32X, though.

Sonic CD is pretty much considered one of the only real reasons to get a CD attachment, though there's also the Lunar games if you're in to incredibly slow and annoying RPGs.
