This one was a turn around from 1. Although nothing more was offered graphically, Sqaure put forth a better effort in terms of storyline, character development and stat development.

The story was actually quite good, rebellion against the damn empire taking everyone over. While the NES version was satisfying to complete, FF Origins gave it a nice breathe of fresh air.

The stat development was very bold. I read reviews on how it's trashed, but seriously, NES people. Leon is still the man too.

Review on people.

I can't say anthing bad about this game really...
It isn't at the top of my FF list; nevertheless, it isn't at the bottom (thats reserved for FFX-2)

Stat building's a pain in the ass. If it had used a normal leveling up system it would've been a good game.
