Black and White 2

Postby Grand Admiral Thrawn » Sat Dec 04, 2004 1:37 am

Anybody looking forward to Black and White 2? I'm a huge fan of the first game. One major feature I want to use in Black and White 2: The Volcano Miracle  . All that lava, oozing and bubbling and *descends into fit of madness*

No one's anticipating it more than me. I'm also in the official BW channel on IRC all the time.

How do you know I'm not anticipating it more than you? I visit the official site almost every day and look through all of the game sites I know for more info on it. Only thing that could make it better would be Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, if not Super-Class.

Because I'm cooler than you. So there.

So that it runs all nice and smooth, I'm updating my hardware already. I've got 512 more megs of RAM, bringing to total to a gig, and hopefully I can buy a REALLY good graphics card off a friend cheap. Then all I need is a really awesome processor, and I should be set! If this were IRC, I'd have to use some sort of funky /me command. But it's not so I won't.

Black and White 1 was good, but I'm waiting more on the xbox titles from lionheart, all of which have been put to a halt due to black and white 2. Also, is there any proof of there going to be a volcano spell?

Yep. It's one of the "epic miracles"
Go to http://www.bwgame.com
There's a screenshot of it. There was also a dev diary at gamespy about all the epic miracles (earthquake, volcano, siren, etc.)

I've also heard rumors that you can use the earthquake to create a pit around your village, squeeze a fireball to drip lava in it, and create a flaming moat. I hope it's true.

I'm looking forward to this game. The fact that the game has furries is completely mitigated by the fact that these furries are going to be able to die in violent, gut-wrenching ways.
"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat." (Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio)

Who said the creatures would all be furry? Myself, I'm looking forward to a reptilian creature.

I didn't say furry, I said furries.

Oh, and the creatures will be Lion, Ape, Cow, Wolf, and Tiger. So no reptiles.
