Well, Retro never made anything good until Nintendo bought them, and gave them a Japanese game series. >_>

Oh yes and Halo sucks along with Battlefield 1942 and don't get me started on Mech Warrior and Doom.

Hah. Americans invented Video Games. without us, you wouldn't even have any video games, impossible. Yeah. Japan makes good video games. But you all don't make any. And if you were a world superpower with huge corporations making THOUSANDS of video games, obviously you're gonna come out with some shitty titles.

Haha, you can't blame America for making the game shitty. I don't think congress passed laws on how the game was going to turn out. It's the company who made it. Even if it's an American company, that doesn't mean that AMERICA made it bad.

Currently? American games are better. Japan is in a massive gaming recession. Capcom is becoming more and more crap. Namco can't churn out new material. Konami is turning towards American designers, Nintendo...nuff said. Did I miss any of the larger companies?

Anyway, US games are getting better and better as time goes by.

Capcom aren't crap, they're just lazy. They could make more kickass games easily, but instead they have to make 50 MM games a year. Nintendo are making shorter and easier games, which is really frustrating, but that doesn't mean they're worse at all - just stupid.

I can still name a million more great Japanese games than American games.
