Traz and "Rhue" plunge in E1

In the Traz suicide ending, Traz destroys the sword because he made it contradict itself, killing someone who has done nothing "wrong". Whenever it's in rhue's hand and he tries to kill gaius, it doesn't work because the sword won't attack gaius, because he's done nothing wrong.

Therefore, howcome when Traz and Rhue plunge in E1 we don't have these sheilds sprouting every pass?

They were sparring?

It's a good idea; perhaps the sword can read rhue's intent?

Possibly, but if I remember correctly, the only time blood is actually drawn in a plunge is when Rhue accidently slicesRosmar. I guess this is another thing Lun could expound upon, but it seems like where someone loses a plunge, they're just "worn out" or something, not butchered apart.

Rhue and Traziun were fighting with the blunt end of the swords.

More slipping of the blades? I mean, they were REALLY going at it. And it's not like the sword had an objection to killing Slade.

Rhue can kill the wanderes at the rabbit race, also he kills lyrra's father on request.

That's right. Why would Rhue/Kura's sword kill those innocent.
Actually we really don't know.

Does Lun? Even gods contradict themselves, look at the bible.

You can fight other "innocent" people during the plunge for gameplay reasons. but about Jed, I do not know.

Jed did say: End me, so Rhue didn't Kill him, he assisted Jed.

The wanderers at the rabbit race were attempting to harm him though, so I suppose the sword figured he was justified in his actions.

There are other times, such as the Blood Lyn Plunge near the start of Ep 4, Slade's Ep 5 battle, and the Strata Finale. And don't forget the optional Ansgar Market Plunge.

Ansgar was kind of a dick, though. To me, Slade is the real hole, it doesn't make sense. I definitely think there's a deeper explanation to this than "the sword doesn't hurt the innocent". How innocent is Traziun? He WAS a Blood Lyn after all - and he's killed dozens of them, too, so it's not like he's never murdered, even if he was murdering bad people. So if Rhue shoved the sword into himself, would it also self-destruct? Maybe it feels regret from suicides? God, I wish that had been more clear. >_<
