Favorite Moments:
-The opening of Episode 1 [It's hard to resist the Theme Music].
-The twisted story Rhue tells with ALOT of help from Lyrra.
-The ending to Episode 4 [I both hated and loved it; on one hand it was
beautiful cliffhanger, featuring's Rhue's "I must win", Strata's arrogant
smirk, and Lyrra's torn expression. I never liked Lyrra very much, but
I couldn't help but sympathize with her in that instance. On the other
hand I absolutely hated having to wait for the next episode to see
whether Rhue would win or not.].
-The opening Plunge of Episode 5 [though we ended up losing, it was
priceless, seeing Strata's expression after you didn't fall after the sixth
pass; and that new Plunge music with blaring trumpets was absolutely
amazing.].
-The Blood Lyn conflict in the black fortress/sanctium/citadel [it was
hilarious, seeing all of those Lyn flying through the air. I absolutely loved
just pressing <ENTER> and sitting back for half an hour as Traziun
carved his name out of the Lyn. And that "Reflective Sky" music was
beautiful].
-The death of Lexus in Episode 4? [That was perhaps the most touching
moment I experienced in The Way. In fact I almost cried. I was
amazed at Lun's creation of characters I actually cared about. It was
even more depressing seeing her ghost throughout Estrana immediatly
afterwards.].
-The Dinner Party and Courtroom scenes in Episode 6 [I ended up playing
through this numerous times, baffled at all of the possible actions you
could take and all the ways you could interact with the other attendants.
I especially loved the "Eat cake in front of Icbod" dialogue option. And
the courtroom scene afterwards... priceless.].
-The Outworld/Reflective Sky in Episode 6 [I instantly loved this area due
to the return of the "Reflective Sky" music, and when you jumped off of
the platforms into lower areas with the sound of the wind rushing around
you... WOW.].
Most frustrating Mini Games:
-The first few Plunges [I'm sorry, but I could NEVER remember whether it
was Cross Sweep>Lunge Cut>Drop Slash>Cross Sweep or the exact
opposite.].
-The Cannon and Free Fall minigames [they just didn't work very well.].
-The two Barrucha Dungeons [I can't remember ever being so paranoid
on a game, with bodies every where, exploding bridges, and completely
unpredictable movements on the Barrucha's part.].
-The Escape from the Blood Lyn minigame [there is no way to describe
how exceedingly frustrating this game can be.].
-All of the dodging spikes and arrows minigames in Episode 6 [everyone
loves a little bit of "Prince of Persia" every now and then, but that was
going WAY TOO FAR.].
