Blatant denial and wishful thinking

So lets assume this isn't the last of The Way, where would it go from here?

There's still the issue of that last Illuminatus sword lying around, why specifically mention the one sword remaining, if it never appears in the game?

And then there's also the issue with Scatha, Dirk, and Tetzal. Also, what exactly are Gaius' goals?

And there's the "Truth of the Way" that's mentioned repeatedly, and issues surrounding the end of the way, why there's an end, why it's moving, etc. And why Rhue knows a place that's beyond the end of the way and associates it with the Landorin massacre.

But gameplay wise, what would happen next? If you were still Rhue, would you just lose your transcendant auras and have all you stats jacked down to a pre-transcendant level? Would you later pick up that one Illuminatus sword and get mixed up in a big conflict?

Or would you be someone completely different?

But...

This really is probably the end. At least for a good long while.

aside from exploring all the loose ends lun has left any new stories will leave new threads if lun makes it, this is a stroke of genius, not like Lucas who skips the whole mystery and jsut wraps a story up, even though this causes mismatching, spoiling the original story and anger in general.
Ahem, back to track, a new story will answer some questions, and make new ones appear, as the six episodes have. And what would it be about? Frankly it could be about anything, Lun has made so many unique characters that following one or two alone will make the stuff of legends.

We could follow Dirk and Scatha as they search for Tetzel, which would ensure meeting some people along the way and a school of adventures.

We could follow Strata, as he tries to come to terms with his emotional self?

The possibilities are endless.

That isn't the true ending.
As Lun said, the true ending is the hardest to get.

ALERT, THIS COMMENT IS STUPID:

What does get mean: obtain or understand.

Both, but in this context I'd say obtain, since it refers to the Lexus ending.

The Lexus ending is easy to get compared to The Reaches one...

I think they are quite even. You have to become chamion plunger, have the date, get all the furnature ect. But never having completed the pits ending I dont know what I'm talking about..... I just remember you have the Shadow plungers, and the uberboss. Anything I'm missing?

To have the reaches one you just need high stats.

To the lexus one, not only you need to make a lot of side quests and
whatnot, as you also must have a good relationship with lexus from the previous eps. It's an ending that you must work on from ep 4.

Something to think about, if Ep. 6 is the end, why does Arctura give AR?

I thinking the reaches ending is an actual END ending, but the others (I still need to get lexus') can still carry on.

Edit: I just got the Lexus ending. I think it makes it pretty damn obvious that "Rhue" is the Mimic liberating himself of the other auras keeping his original self from dominant presence. And it's probably happened a few times before, and the mimic is the person Traziun's mom was referring to, as having found a way of maintaining the original self when the auras from the shadow sword start messing with the original.

It's not proved, but it's quite clearly the intent there.

What?????

Why would Lun say that anyway?

Yeah.

Lun would say something far more cryptic and mysterious.

He's cool like that.

Lun only posts for two reasons, to correct bugs, or to correct Fwacho.
