Crib members would wear blue scarves (now called bandannas) around their necks or heads. The color blue became their representative color.

Hmm, intresting connection. The only thing is that blue scarves wear scarves over their faces, i.e., they cover their mouths and acts as masks of sorts. Otherwise, good catch.

Well yeah, they'd wear them over their faces in real life while commiting crimes too.

Also, Crips are broken up into smaller gangs depending upon where members originated from, similar to the blue scarves led by Lexus and those led by Cetsa

The Blue Scarves led by Lexus aren't real Blue Scarves. Their people with knives and Blue Scarves, nothing more than the common crooks. Unlike Cesta's Blue Scarves, who are murdering, trained bandits. They're not exactly super trained either, but that's beyond the point.

But yeah, I can totally see Lun having the Blue Scarves inspired through there. Are the Cribs led by a beautiful woman?

So, does that make the Blood Lyn the Bluds?

I have a feeling that this is going to turn into another Giant Squid.

If you check the 1commander's thread, you'll find that the Bluds are actually black ink. So that makes the Crips blue ink - of the same nature but yet opposing.

I wasn't joking though, that was probably Lun's source of inspiration for the blue scarves.. I'm not going to bitch at ya or anything, I'm not Imoto after all. :)
