Has this ever been explained, why Estrana was the city inside the sword?

I believe because the city has an aura too ... or something like that - and when it was destroyed the sword absorbed it.

Somewhere in the game, though I can't seem to find it to save my life, there was a guy who said all things had auras, not just people. And after Estrana was obliterated, Rhue must have absorbed it.

So then Rhue absorbed the city later in life. If so, then where were all the people "Rhue" absorbed before that at?

They populate Dream Estrana. And it's not Rhue absorbing them, it's the Shadow Sword he carries.

Therefore it is possible that (if Rhue was Venge) that Janwen is floating around his sword somewhere.
All the people in Dream Estrana were people who died and had their auras absorbed by Rhue's sword.

right, i understand that part, but if Rhue absorbed the city in episode five then were where all the auras before that.

Its right underneath Estrana. Or whats left of it. Rhue could have possibly absorbed it ages ago as Venge or somthing, or when he came to Estrana this time around.

Well, Estrana isn't the only area in the sword, theres the forest, among other places. Also, if Rhue had absorbed Janwen ages ago, it would be there. And before that, I guess it was just a black void.

Hey! I just had a brainwave! The sword has a whole pits section (lower way) and floating city section (upper way) and then there's DE istelf (middle way) I don't really know how to explain this 'cos it just came to me, but what if the sword absored the aura of the pits when it was corrupted, and before that had absorbed the aura of the upper way when it was an illuminati blade?

Forest?
FOREST?
Where could it have come from, what forest has been destroyed that we know of, I'm sure there was one.

The Kava/Kura story had a forest that was destroyed. We've also established that Mimic probably possessed Kura at some point.

IIRC, the forest was destroyed by Kava and Luma's spirits or something like that.
And if the Twisted Forest and the one in the Kava/Kura story are one and the same, that would explain why the "Witch's Grave" is there (Luma).
