I know who it was, it has to have been Strata! Scatha is Slade's sister, and in the first episode Slade sees Strata and says "I know you." and Strata denies it! it all makes sence!!!

might have been kygar too... many ppl seem to mistake kygar and strata due to their similar looks ... happened to rhue once too!

But then again slade DOES know kygar for a reason too hence the scene where he manages to persuade kygar to knock out cetsa.

Your theory has also popped up in my head because scatha feels treated badly by guys (men arrre pigssss... men use women as trophiesssss ^_^)
and that's mainly what strata does... only Lun knows for sure

Oh yeah, i hadn't thought of that. Kygr might actulaly make a little more sence seeing as they are assosiated more often, BUT Strata is more girl crazy and he acts REALY nervous when he sees Slade. so from what i see it's more likely to be Strata than Kygr

They meet in the first settlement, the one with the rabbit race.

My thought was that Slade mistook Strata for Kygar ("spikey black hair" and all) as has been said. Since Slade is hunting down Cetsa, wouldn't he know what her henchman looked like? Also it seems to me that Kygar betrayed Cetsa for his own ends - to escape Slade's wrath.

The question of Chasta's partner is still uncertain. Heck, what if it was Dirk. Now that would be interesting...

I've always thought it was Strata, it just seems so obvious.

1. Slade says he knows him.

2. Scatha's view of men is just TOO similar to Strata's personality to be a coincidence.

and scatha is the one who drives lyrra to strike back against strata, if anyone noticed that when the voice was convincing lyrra, the voice slurred her s's just like scatha does.

Yea i did notice that the voice was slurred. i just thought that Scatha said to herself, "what the heck. im going to free Dirk anyway so why not help this girl

That's exactly what I thought at the time - I haven't thought much of it recently. I sometimes thought to myself that it could have been Midian that Scatha slept with. He would have been a teenager about the time of the flashback, and the fact that Midian was considered a crazy wacko might have added to Chasta's mother's fury of the situation. Just a thought?

I think the mother was so unreasonable that she wouldn't need any excuse to be furious. But to me, it does seem likely that Strata was Chasta's lover.

then why didn't she go when she saw him again and went off like a to kill him? Rhue did... and don't say she's not spitefull about what happend to her!

She is but she doesn't seem like the type somehow. She's also so... calculated in what she does, somehow. She has a bad temper, but we've never seen any evidence of her EVER killing someone.
