Scatha and Rhue

Postby Masked Gamer » Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:21 pm

This may be a stupid question, but is it ever explained how Scatha knows Rhue and which incarnation she knew?

she recognized the face, not the name "Didn't he go by ..... back then?"

So Jeruh is wrong.

Maybe she met Midian as our Rhue. That makes sense, he knew her form the past and asked if she knew where Jeruh was because they are brought up in the same town.

Besides, Scatha doesn't know Rhue was Jeruh.

Scatha recognized the story of Rhue trying to find the girl he loves, Serena, who disappeared. She could connect this either to Midian (Serena's best friend) or Jeruh, but I'd go with Jeruh, because Midian looks completely different. If Scatha hasn't seen Jeruh since he was maybe twelve, it is easy to mistake Rhue for him.

*gasp* Are you saying there's a character's plot in The Way that was... LEFT UNEXPLAINED? A loose end, even? STOP THE PRESSES!!!

This is one of the first things that came to mind that pissed me off when E6 ended, along with us getting zero answers about Dirk. But logically, Scatha recognised Rhue as either Midian or Jeruh, I'm not sure which now.

By the way, are Rhue's memories of Serena Midian's?

Of course, then we have to go back to the question of just how inexplicable the whole shadow sword issue between Jeruh and Rhue is... Don't remember the specifics of any of it now because it's been too long, but this is something Lun specifically said was not a plothole, although it makes no sense.

Why don't we go a lil' further... err... why doesn't she recognizes rhue
for once being eyashu, since she knew him (which we know from her
convo with dirk!) before he died. The changed name might indicate that statement 'didn't he go by...' ^_^
Why didn't she mention that to dirk? meh... :wink:

Eyashu was the only real Forerunner (according to Dirk) and he was killed by Tetzel, I think.

As for Rhue/Scatha, she says something along the lines of "it seems that not only his name has changed" in that section where they work together in the pits. She also acts weird throughout Rhue's entire Serena story... Maybe one of the incarnations of Rhue was the guy she... y'know.

if
the girl=serena
and
serena = sister of cathsa
serena= landorin
therefore, cathsa(scatha) = landorin

it was Jeruh I guess that scatha knows...

No, Scatha could not have possibly recognized Rhuw as Jeruh, if you all would think about it, you would see it clearly, but obviously thinking is prohibited or something equally as stupid around these parts.

Okay, step by step on why Scatha cannot possible recognize Rhue as Jeruh.

1.) Okay, our antagonist has Midian's aura, he kill's Jeruh, our antagonist is Rhue's aura with no trace of Jeruh. SCATHA CANT RECOGNIZE OUR ANTAGONIST AS JERUH BECAUSE HE WAS NEVER FUCKING JERUH!!!!!!!!!!!!

2.) Scatha recognizes Rhue by his face. If you read my first point, then our antagonist never had Jeruh's aura. So, Jeruh aura was never associated with our antagonists face. EVER.

Please, if this is not sufficient evidence, give me your address so I can mail you a knife, so you can do this world a favor. Better yet, let us save some time and go to the kitchen on your own, I am sure that would save me shipping fees.
