I think i have found a flaw with your theory: if the universe of the way was constantly expanding, then how would the toxic mist be at the front of the way as well as the back?

4.i finnaly have a theory that the way is expanding with the universe (meaning it is not yet completed and still being formed) so the end of the way keeps changing!

As for 1, 2 and 3, please don't bother making points about centers of gravity, prevailing winds and heat differentials - the Way is a fantasy series, not a sci-fi one, and in a fantasy series you can get away with breaking laws of physics as long as there's a reasonable explanation.

As for 4, it's possible that the Way is still expanding, but that does not explain why Rhue comes across the place known as the End of the Way to find a setting he remembers before.

I think he is trying to say that even though it is growing, since it is still a sphere, if you go faster than the rate of growth, you'll eventually get back to your starting point.
