What does it do? I managed to kill the Jester (resilient little bastard he was), and I got this item... I'm presuming it leads to more Notch Items, which is ALWAYS good... since it seems the enemies are finally respawning.

There's a locked door in Alan's mansion that you can open with it. There's a nice suprise waiting for you on the other side. =)

I did that last night, and I CANT BELIEVE IT!
I cant beat him, is there anything special that happens if you do? Like any information or anything from him?

Just keep trying to beat him - you'll reap the benefits for the rest of the episode . . . :wink:

He's really not that hard... just score a Hurricane Slash early and repeat whenever he recovers from prone. And trust me, the reward is VERY much worth it... if you want a good fourth character anyways.

The skill you learn after absorbing two (or is it three?) Gold Stones? It's an upgrade of Line Break (or whatever it's called) that can cause prone. Plus, it's strong as hell... favourite skill in the entire game.

The point the above poster was making is that fight is a Plunge, no Hurricane Slash.

Huh? I thought Locke was referring to the Jester fight... but then again, it could easily be the "Plunge from the Past"...

I found the Jester quite easy.
In fact it was easier then the
standard monnster in the mine.

Nope, sorry, I meant the plungeing I was just trying to avoid possible spoilers by mentioning who with.
The Jester was easier than I thought it'd be, but who was that girl? I'm glad I went back to check it out.
Anyway, I won the plunge last night, risk attacks paid off every time. and now I have a new team member.

Hes in the mansion but you have to explore it all once or twice to find him, it not a hidden passage, so you shouldnt have any trouble.
