Yes, that place is HELL. Man, in betaing, I spend two days simply there leveling it up. That said, after I got all of Rhue's attacks (max all of his four sword auras), things became quite easy for the rest of the game...

Also, unlocking a few more characters could help immensely. I don't know if you can at your stage right now though.

When battles in an RPG are so long, it would be nice if there were at least not so many of them... Reflective Sky is one of the particularly bad areas.

Yeah.. in some rooms, the monsters even respawn when you reenter the room. Battles were challenging and fun in the beginning, but in the middle where they became insane, I just editted the stats of my chars with RM2k.. now I feel I'm missing out on some of the fun :(.

reflective sky was one or the few orginal battel grounds programed for E6. I still remember gettign lost in there. Lun did make an effort to make levelign up easier in this veriosn thoguh.

keep in mind there there are a billion notch items collect (*ahem* side quests), so monsters respawn. The monsters are not very hard once you're up to speed with all the notch items.

Open RM2K, and crack open the folder E6 is in. Click on "Database" (it's to the right of the scale options) on the tool bar, and select "Monsters". Fine the creatures that are giving you trouble, and nerf the hell out of their HP. Hell, I did it for the final boss (normal ending)... BUT THAT WAS THE ONLY TIME! :(

O_o The beta was hard?

I missed half the notch items AND used the trial file and I got through to the end...and I absorbed only 9/10 of the items I did get and skipped half of the battle encounters, especially towards the end...

Odd..unless wave 10 got the simpler version.

By wave 10 it was easier, I believe.

But there are things like the optional plunges and bosses that you couldn't have beaten.

uh...I did. I tied the "3rd" one (through some bug) and won <spoilers>
I didn't bother looking for the others...
