In the House of Pnoe, are there supposed to be six paintings?
I've only got five, and theres more room on the right than the left.
Also, has anyone figured out how to open Celestia's yet?

If it's on the right, then...
Have you beaten the jester?
Have you gotten all 5 rings on the free fall game?

Not really, it's just luck...
Just don't go too fast, and try to memorize where the rings appear.

I got the ring game completed after about 10-15 tries. Key is to immediately maneuvre yourself to the position the next ring will be at, before it's actually in sight. Count how many times you push left or right, up or down. I usually pushed 7-8 to gain enough speed, then when I was almost at the desired position push it another 7-8 times + 1 in the opposite direction.

Can someone mention how EACH one is gotten, and where the blade appears when you get it?

For the ring minigame, you can try holding the arrow keys (rather than a short press, but not too long either) as well. It worked a lot better for me.

you're right
for this mini-game, holding the arrow keys is much better than tapping them ... you just have to figure out when to let go of the key you were holding so that you don't go off-screen
